Mafia III is an upcoming open-world action-adventure video game, and a sequel to Mafia II. It is developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, and is set to release in October 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The following firearms make an appearance in the video game Mafia III:
Handguns
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 is one of many available handguns in Mafia 3.
Browning Hi-Power
The Browning Hi-Power is available for use in the game. It can also bee seen among other weapons in a stash from one of the promotional videos.
High Standard HDM
The High Standard HDM is usable throughout the game. It has an integral suppressor, allowing for more stealthy gunplay.
Colt Python
Lincoln Clay and other characters make use of the Colt Python throughout the game.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500AT/ Remington 870
A pump action shotgun resembling both the [Mossberg 500] and the [Remington 870] can be used by the player and by NPC's. Since the game does not use the real names of its guns, it is difficult to know which shotgun it is modeled after, due to the Mossberg 500 and the Remington 870 being virtually identical guns.
Ithaca 37
Lincoln can shoots his enemies with an Ithaca 37, which appears in-game with a pistol grip, both with and without a stock.
Winchester Model 1887
A Winchester Model 1887 resembling the configuration from Terminator 2 is available fore use in Mafia 3. Lincoln can flip-cock the gun in a manner similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Interestingly, the gun does not have a wide lever loop, making the flip-cock almost impossible without breaking one's hand. Because of this, Lincoln appears to use only his thumb inside the loop to work the action.
Sawed off double barrel shotgun
Lincoln can make use of the classic gangster weapon, the sawed-off shotgun.
Submachine Guns
Beretta M12
In a gameplay video, a bad guy is briefly seen holding a Beretta M12. It appears in the game as "Carter M33-A"
Smith & Wesson 76
Lincoln can use this weapon in the game. It appears in the game as the "Alfredsson M833"
Heckler & Koch MP54
In the game Lincoln and many of the gangsters can be seen using a Heckler and Koch MP54 with a thin magazine. It appears in the game as "Deutsche M11B"
Uzi
Lincoln can use this weapon. It appears in the game as the "Binya".
M1A1 Thompson
Lincoln is seen firing an M1A1 Thompson in a released screenshot.
M3A1 Grease gun
In the game Lincoln and the gangsters use an M3A1 Grease gun. It appears in game as "M1N8", and is available in a suppressed variation.
VZ.61 Skorpion
A Vz.61 Skorpion is seen being dropped by an enemy in a gameplay demo. It appears in the game as "Czech Ver B-65"
Rifles
AK-47
An AK-47 or its variant is seen in E3 gameplay. It appears as "Pasadena AR30".
Colt M16A1
M16A1 is briefly seen in the reveal trailer. It is also seen in E3 gameplay with a 30-round magazine, and appears as "Stromer .223".
M1 Carbine
What looks like an M1 Carbine is briefly seen in the hands of a bad guy in One Way Road story trailer. It appears without the bayonet lug. Lincoln can use this weapon in the game.
Tokarev SVT-40
In One Way Road story trailer, Burke is seen firing an SVT-40 with a scope. Lincoln can use this weapon in the game.
Winchester model 70
Lincoln can be seen in the game using this scoped bolt action rifle.
M14
Lincoln can use this weapon in the game. It appears in the game as the "Automat SG"
Machine Guns
M60
In the game trailer Lincoln is seen firing this weapon at some mobsters in cars. Lincoln can be seen using this weapon in the game and it appears as "Hartmann 7.62MM"
M60D
In the reveal trailer, Lincoln is seen in a helicopter manning an M60D machine gun.
Launchers
M72A1 LAW
Lincoln can use this weapon in the game. In the game it appears as the "Hartmann AT-40"
M79 grenade launcher
Lincoln is seen firing an M79 grenade launcher in a video. In the game it appears as the "Hartmann HLP"
