Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film in the Mad Max film series and the first to star Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky. In the film, Max becomes involved with the plans of Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), who intends to make her escape from the tyrannical warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) after liberating his captive "breeders" - young women whom he holds prisoner in the hopes of producing a healthy male heir. Unlike the previous three films, Fury Road was shot almost entirely on location in Namibia, rather than Australia.
Also unlike the previous three film, where firearms were a scarce commodity and rarely used, Fury Road features a large number of firearms that are used liberally by many of the characters. This is partially explained by the existence of Joe's "satellite" domains, The Bullet Farm and Gas Town, run by his lieutenants The Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) and The People Eater (John Howard), respectively, which allow Joe's forces to manufacture ammunition and explosives, rather than having to hoard what little remains of either.

Handguns
Browning Hi-Power
Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) obtains a Browning Hi-Power after killing the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) and his men in the Green Place, keeping it as his personal sidearm for the remainder of the film. He later uses it to shoot at Slit (Josh Helman) at the start of the final chase.
Colt Anaconda
Immortan Joe's (Hugh Keays-Byrne) keeps a Colt Anaconda as one of his personal sidearms, and brandishes it during the first and last chase scenes.
Colt M1911A1
During the film's final chase sequence, the War Boy Slit is armed with a Colt M1911A1, which he fires at Max and the War Rig.
Colt Single Action Army
The Bullet Farmer is shown to keep a pair a Colt Single Action Army revolvers in holsters strapped to his upper arms. Whilst searching for the War Rig in the Green Place, he fires two long-barreled "Buntline Special" models fitted with adjustable rear sights before switching to an IMI Uzi. The People Eater's (John Howard) custom limousine rig incorporates the grip and frame of a stainless steel Single Action Army into its gear lever.
Enfield No. 2
One of the weapons in the War Rig's arsenal is an Enfield No. 2, which Max confiscates after joining Furiosa and Immortan Joe's wives in their journey to the Green Place. The Bullet Farmer's custom Howe & Howe Ripsaw vehicle, dubbed the Peacemaker, incorporates the grip and frame of an Enfield into its spotlight.
Glock 17
A 2nd Generation Glock 17 is featured as the most prominent weapon in the War Rig's extensive arsenal. It is used by Max, Furiosa, and one of Immortan Joe's wives, Toast the Knowing (Zoë Kravitz), for most of the film. Shortly after the brutal fight between Max and Furiosa, the Glock is briefly portrayed as a 3rd Generation model, implying that two distinct, non-identical props were used for the film.
Luger P08
Another weapon included in the War Rig's arsenal is a Luger P08, which Max confiscates and uses against the Rock Riders and one of Immorton Joe's Imperators during the last leg of the initial chase.
Mauser C96
Another weapon Max confiscates while on the War Rig is a Mauser C96. The People Eater also carries a C96 as his personal weapon, which he attempts to use on Max during the final chase.
Ruger Vaquero
Both Immortan Joe and his eldest son, Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones), carry Ruger Vaqueros with stainless steel bodies and ivory grips as personal sidearms. Nux (Nicholas Hoult) is given Joe's Vaquero when the latter orders him to kill Furiosa and stop the War Rig during the last leg of the initial chase, but drops it after tripping and nearly falling from its trailer less than a minute later.
Smith & Wesson Model 30
Max also confiscates what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 30 after deciding to ride with Furiosa and the wives on the War Rig. He later uses it to shoot and kill the Rock Rider Chief (Stephen Dunlevy) towards the climax of the film's first chase.
Taurus PT99AF
Furiosa's personal sidearm is a blued Taurus PT99AF, which is confiscated by Max after he joins her and the wives. During the final chase, Immortan Joe draws and fires a stainless steel PT99AF at Max.
Webley .455 Mk IV
A Webley .455 Mk IV is yet another weapon in the War Rig's arsenal. It is initially confiscated by Max after he joins Furiosa and the wives, but is later used by Furiosa to gun down one of Immorton Joe's Imperators near the end of the first chase.
Unknown Derringer
Before proceeding with his lone search for the War Rig in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer loads what appears to be a single-shot derringer of some kind.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
After being blinded by Furiosa in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer wields and fires two Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs fitted with Brügger & Thomet folding stocks and Aimpoint M68 reflex sights mounted on Weaver rails.
Heckler & Kock UMP9
A Heckler & Koch UMP9 is seen on board the Bullet Farmer's Peacemaker vehicle.
IWI Uzi
While searching for the War Rig in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer is seen firing an IWI Uzi with a wooden stock after his two SAA "Buntline Specials" run out of ammo.
Kommando LDP
The Rock Rider Chief's personal weapon is a Kommando LDP fitted with a dual magazine clamp and its stock removed.
Sten Mk. II
Trailer and B-roll footage for the film reveal at least one of Immorton Joe's War Boys to be armed with a Sten Mk. II submachine gun.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
Miss Giddy (Jennifer Hagen), the elderly Wordburger and caretaker of the Five Wives, threatens Immortan Joe with a full-length 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun after he realizes Furiosa has smuggled them out of the Citadel. One of the Vuvalini women is armed with a a double barreled shotgun as well.
Sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun
In a homage to the original Mad Max trilogy, a Sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun makes an appearance at one point in the film. It is first used by Nux as his personal weapon when pursuing the War Rig, and later by Max to threaten Furiosa and the Five Wives after Nux's car is destroyed in the sandstorm. It is picked up by Toast the Knowing after the subsequent fight between Max and Furiosa, and later confiscated by the former, and, sadly, never seen or used again.
Single Barreled Shotgun
One of the Vuvalini women is armed with a Single Barreled Shotgun and uses it during the final chase sequence. A sawed-off variant is also included in the War Rig's Arsenal and is confiscated by Max shortly after he joins Furiosa and the Five Wives.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
A Heckler & Koch G36C is seen in a holster on the Peacemaker, the Bullet Farmer's personal vehicle.
Heckler & Koch G3A4
One of the Bullet Farmer's henchmen is seen with a Heckler & Koch G3A4.
Izhmash AKM
After using up the ammo for his MP5-PDWs in his blind shooting spree, the Bullet Farmer switches to a pair of Izhmash AKMs, which he fires in order to flush out Furiosa and the Five Wives while searching for them in the Green Place (according to the graphic novel prequel, the Farmer's previous name was "Major Kalashnikov").

A Rossi .357 lever action is used by The Valkyrie (Megan Gale), one of the Vuvalini, to shoot at Immortan Joe's Gigahorse vehicle.
Flintlock Rifle
Keeper of the Seeds (Melissa Jaffer), one of the Vuvalini, wields what appears to be a Flintlock rifle. This is also seen in the hands of Max.
Machine Guns
RPD Light Machine Gun
What appears to be an RPD Light Machine Gun is mounted on The People Eater's (John Howard) modified limousine.
Other
M79 Grenade Launcher
What appears to be an M79 Grenade Launcher modified with a foregrip and a pistol grip is used by The Ace (Jon Iles), one of the men accompanying Furiosa. A similar weapon is also integrated into the RPD light machine gun mounted on the People Eater's (John Howard) limousine.
Webley & Scott Signal Pistol
A Webley & Scott No. 1 Mk. III* Signal Pistol is seen among Furiosa's weapons confiscated by Max. Furiosa later is seen using it.
Automatic Weapon
Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones) also is seen wielding a weapon that resembles an automatic shotgun. The weapon is fitted with a drum magazine that resembles such weapons as the AA-12.
