The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Luther:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
Beretta 92FS Inox
Daniel Sugarman (Ross McCall), the American Diamond Thief in Episode 5, carries a Beretta 92FS Inox. It is later taken from him and used by DCI John Luther (Idris Elba) and DCI Ian Reed (Steven Mackintosh). An officer describes it as being a "9mm Beretta".
FN FNP-9
DCI Ian Reed (Steven Mackintosh) uses an FN FNP-9 with a stainless slide during a standoff with DCI Luther in Episode 5.
Glock 26
The murder weapon in the Pilot is found to be Glock 26. DCI Ian Reed (Steven Mackintosh) disassembles one for DCI Luther's benefit, describing it as a "Glock 26 lightweight compact pistol, weighs less then 16 ounces, carbon steel spring and barrel, polymer frame and components". Luther later determines that the Glock was chosen because the barrel could be melted down; the murder weapon was placed in the throat of a dog with the knowledge that it would be cremated.
Smith & Wesson Model 12
Owen Lynch (Sam Spruell), the sniper terrorizing London in Episode 2, carries a Smith & Wesson Model 12 as a backup weapon.
Walther PPK
A kidnapper uses a stainless Walther PPK in Episode 5.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
British CO19 officers use the Heckler & Koch MP5A3, fitted with EOTech Holographic sights and tactical lights, in several episodes.
Shotguns
Sawn Off 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
DCI Ian Reed (Steven Mackintosh) uses a Sawn Off 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun in Episode 6.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch PSG-1 (mock-up)
A CO19 Sniper is armed with the Heckler & Koch PSG-1 during a standoff in Episode 6. The PSG-1 used in this episode appears to be a mock-up built from a full-auto G3 variant; it has the detachable push-pin lower receiver unit of H&K's full-auto weapons, whereas the factory PSG-1 has the none-detachable lower receiver of the HK91 civilian rifles. This weapon also has the lower receiver with "S-F" fire control options, rather than the "0-1" options of the factory PSG-1.
Colt Model 933
Owen Lynch (Sam Spruell), the sniper antagonist of Episode 2, uses an Colt Model 933 fitted with a scope during his spree.
