The Lost World is a 2001 remake of the 1925 film based on the book of the same name by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and was directed by Stuart Orme (The Puppet Masters).

Webley .455 Mk VI
Two Webley .455 Mk VI revolvers with black grips were used in the film by Roxton (Tom Ward) and Edward Malone (Matthew Rhys) as trusted sidearms.
Webley Mk. VI - .455 Webley
Edward takes out the Webley.
Edward puts the pistol in his belt.
Roxton aims his Webley revolver at the Pterosaurs.
"Tell them that i killed him and i can kill many more with this!" Roxton says that he can kill more apemen with the Webley.
Half dead Roxton aims the Webley to the angry Indians.
Roxton dies with the Webley in his hand.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Reverend Theo Kerr (Peter Falk) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 as his sidearm. This gun appears at the end of the film.

Rifles
Martini-Henry rifle
Two Martini-Henry lever-action rifles were used in the film. In the film they have extremely long barrels. The Martini-Henry rifles are the most common guns in the film.

In the film a Bentley and Playfair Elephant Gun was used two times by Roxton (Tom Ward) and one time by Edward in an attempt to bring down two allosaurs.

Roxton loads 2 slugs into his Elephant gun.
Roxton aims for the Male Allosaur's chest and neck.

Shotguns
Short barreled Side by Side Shotgun (Sawed Off)
George Challenger (Bob Hoskins) uses a Short Barreled Side by Side Shotgun as his primary firearm in the movie.
Challenger's shotgun in the hands of Roxton.
Challenger takes his shotgun and he is ready for a battle with the female allosaurus.
Challenger shoots the female Allosaurus but she only just felt the shots.
Challenger delivers a good shot to the monster but he only wounds it.
