{{PAGENAME}} (1945-2017) was an American actor best known for his role as Captain Apollo in the original ''[[Battlestar Galactica]]''. Before his role in the sci-fi series, he had appeared as Inspector Dan Robbins in one season of the series ''The Streets of San Francisco''.  He continued to appear in acting roles in television for over 4 decades, including his recurring role as Tom Zarek in ''[[Battlestar Galactica (2004)|Galactica's "reboot" series]]''. He passed away at the age of 71 in February of 2017.

Lorne Greene (1915-1987) was a Canadian actor best known for his roles of Ben Cartwright on Bonanza and as Commander Adama in both the original Battlestar Galactica and its short-lived spin-off, Galactica 1980.
