Detective Joe Fontana (Dennis Farina) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose as his service weapon. Although the Model 19 was not on the NYPD approved carry list, Fontana (like Dennis Farina) had started his career in the Chicago Police Department, and may have been grandfathered in.

Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) shows the S&W 36 found in "Flaw" (S16E02). This episode was a direct continuation of the Season 7 SVU episode "Design" (S07E02), which had aired the night before.

Det. Fontana with the murder weapon in "New York Minute" (S16E08). CSU Tech Emily McDow (Anita Flanagan) had just fished it out of a storm drain.

Beretta Jetfire

Jeremy Miller (Eugene Jones III) shoots himself with a stainless Beretta Jetfire in "Positive" (S16E19).

Ratko Petrovich (Uliks Fehmiu) opens fire on ESU with an unknown handgun in "Kingmaker" (S16E20). It's likely the PT92AFS used all seasons, but there's not enough to make a proper ID.
