The Last of Us(2013)

The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming video game The Last of Us:

Handguns

Beretta Model 70

Ellie is given a Beretta Model 70 after a shootout with hunters. The player can use the weapon as Ellie during the winter levels.

Colt Defender

Ellie is occasionally seen using the Colt Defender. It is one of the first weapons available to Joel in the beginning of the game. Note: It appears to be taken directly from Uncharted 2. However, the gun is now chambered in 9x19mm and simply called the "9mm Pistol." A suppressed variant can be used in multiplayer.

Taurus Model 66

The Taurus Model 66 is one of the most common weapons. It is one of the weapons available early in the game. Its is used by many enemy types and allies.

El Diablo

"El Diablo" is a scoped long barrel variant of the Revolver found in the beginning of the fall section. When acquired it has a one shot capacity but comes with a scope to allow for accurate distance shots. From the size of the shell casing's dropped compared to the revolver, one could argue this weapon is of the .44 Magnum caliber. Found occasionally on enemies.

Shotguns

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 is used by Joel, hunters, scavengers, Fireflys, and the military throughout the game.

Shorty Shotgun

A super sawn-off shotgun is used by Joel and various enemy types throughout the game. It holds two rounds and is semi-automatic. It can be upgraded to hold four.

Rifles

M4A1

The M4A1is the only Assault Rifle found in the game. It is seen in the first level as the standard rifle of the FEDRA soldiers and then at the end of the game equipped by the Fireflies. It is modified with a flat top receiver and iron site similar to that of Spec Ops: The Line and an under barrel flashlight. It is the last weapon that Joel acquires in the game and cannot be customized. It is a very accurate and high ROF weapon but as with most of the weapons in The Last of Us ammunition for it is scarce.

Unknown Rifle

Ellie is seen on promotional artwork with a unknown rifle. It is a bolt action rifle acquired by Joel early on in the game. When first acquired the weapon has a maximum shell capacity of one, forcing the player to rack the bolt back and re inserting a new bullet into the chamber after each shot. However confusingly when the clip capacity is increased, the number of rounds inside the weapon increases, but the ROF changes from a bolt action sniper rifle to a semi-automatic sniper rifle. A scope can be added onto the weapon for increased zoom (of which the player can choose to use the third person perspective or optical zoom). This is also the first weapon that Ellie is given to by Joel and prominently is used by her during the winter section.

A Ruger Mini-14 can be used in multiplayer. Identified as the "Semi Auto Rifle"
