The Last Grenade is a 1970 mercenary war film starring Stanley Baker as Maj. Harry Grigsby who is double-crossed by his comrade Kip Thompson (Alex Cord). Harry’s chance for revenge comes when he is unofficially employed by the British government to hunt down Alex, who is wreaking havoc on the Chinese border with Hong Kong. Matters are complicated further when Harry falls in love with Katherine Whiteley (Honor Blackman) the wife of British General Whiteley (Richard Attenborough). Despite boasting a cast of famous actors the film is fairly obscure.

Dummy Rifles

In the opening scene several mercenaries carry dummy rifles that resemble Lee Enfield No.4s. They lack detail and from the way they are handled it is apparent they are much lighter than real rifles.

The best screen-cap I could get. Still blurred.
Another view of the dummy guns. The dummy guns are only used in brief action scenes so getting a good screencap is tricky.

Machine Guns

Andy (Julian Glover) uses a light mortar in one scene. This appears to be a British Ordnance SBML 2 inch Mortar, but is never seen properly so identification is impossible.
