Kill the Irishman (2011) is an American crime film chronicling the life of Irish-American union president turned Cleveland mob boss Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson), who became known for surviving several assassination attempts on his life throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

The following weapons were used in the film Kill the Irishman:


M1911A1

Joe Buka (Jeff Chase), a thug from the longshoremen's union, uses a suppressed M1911A1 when confronting Danny Greene in 1960. He wears a shoulder holster but keeps the pistol in his waistband when it is suppressed. An FBI agent is also seen with a holstered M1911A1 in 1964.

Jerry Merke (Bob Gunton), the longshoremen's union president in 1960, reaches for a snubnose revolver resembling a third generation Colt Detective Special when Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson) slaps him around in his office. Danny then takes the revolver away from him.
