Jonathan of the Bears (Italian: Jonathan degli orsi, Russian: Джонатан - друг медведей; Dzhonatan - drug medvedey) is a 1994 (filmed 1993) Italian-Russian Spaghetti Western Movie directed by Enzo G. Castellari.

P.S.: This movie was filmed in Russia, which, possibly had influence on the firearms, which appeared in the movie.

A tribute of the near all Western, the Single Action Army revolvers is the most popular handguns, appeared in this movie.

In continitue error, the SAA of the Tall Mercenary (Viktor Gajnov) switches to Smith & Wesson Model 10 at the one moment.

Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"

The Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" is the Kaspar's (Rodrigo Obregón) firearm of choice.

Shotguns

IZh-18

The IZh-18 can be seen used by the hunter Terry (uncredited), who later gave it to another hunter (Igor Vorobyov).

A hunter (Igor Vorobyov) reloads his IZh, tooked from Terry. The the typical spur on the trgger guard and lack of the hammer, which is the mane differ of the IZh-18 from Izh-17 and IZh-K.

IZh-K

Several characters can be seen used the IZh-K. Most likely, the single movie prop was used.

IZh-K - 16 Gauge. It is a direct predecessor of the IZh-17.
The hunter (Anatoliy Mambetov) covers with shotgun.
The smae hunter tries to fire his shotgun...
...but the Jonathan shots the arrow right into the muzzle.
The shotgun is now jammed. Note the groovs on the foregrip.
The another hunter (Igor Vorobyov) holds the similar looking shotgun at the night scene.

Single Barreled Shotgun

One of the Maddock's man used the Single Barreled Shotgun (perhaps IZh-17 or IZh-18).

Harrington & Richardson Topper Shotgun - 12 gauge. This is a common single barreled breach loading top break shotgun.

Winchester Model 1895

The Winchester Model 1895 is a very popular long guns in this movie.

Fred Goodwin fires his Winchester during the prologue.
The gangster (Evgeniy Bogorodskiy) holds the Winchester after killing the Sasha Kowalski. He also carry a holstered SAA at this moment, while it doesn't seen on this shot.
The hunter (Aleksandr Pyatkov) aims his Winchester.
The Religious Mercenary (Boris Khmelnitskiy) holds the Winchester.
The tall mercenary (Viktor Gajnov) holds the Winchester.

Winchester Model 1895 Carbine

The Winchester Model 1895 Carbines is used by the numerous characters. The rifles is fitted with a fake underbarrel magazines, to make it look like as a Winchester Model 1892/Model 1894. This is presumably the same rifle, which earlier appears in the Businessmen (Delovye lyudi) and Dersu Uzala (1975).
