Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series chronicles the adventures of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), a former superhero who now spends her time as a private investigator. The series, which is set to premiere on Netflix in November of 2015, is the second of four original series set in the MCU that will highlight The Defenders, Marvel's "street-level" heroes.
