In Search for Captain Grant (V poiskakh kapitana Granta; Russian: В поисках капитана Гранта) is a 1986 Soviet-Bulgarian adventure mini-series (at Bulgarian language it known as: По следите на капитан Грант; Po sledite na kapitan Grant, lit. On the trail of Captain Grant), based on the novel "In Search of the Castaways" by Jules Verne.

Talkav (Yavor Milushev) and some other shooters uses the percussion rifles with a breech-loading conversion, near all of its appears to be varios types Krnka Rifles and converted Krnka shotguns. Krnka rifle is the standart long rifle of Bulgarian army untill 1915.

Major McNabbs (Vladimir Gostyukhin) found on the grave of the Maori's leader the Kabyle Musket, and uses it subsequently. Looks like, that this prop later was used (along with the a few similar guns) in the movie Cossacks Go (Kozaky Ydut).

Trade Musket

Lord Glenarvan (Nikolai Yeryomenko, Jr.) found on the grave of the Maori's leader the Trade Musket, and gave it to Major McNabbs (Vladimir Gostyukhin), which is the is nothing more than a cheap version of standard European flintlock musket. Such firearms were widely used during the trading between Europeans and indians or indigenous peoples of Oceania.
