Handguns

Colt M1911A1

Otis B. Driftwood (Bill Moseley) uses a Colt M1911A1 to kill Deputy Naish (Walton Goggins) and Denise's father.

Otis puts the barrel to Naishs' head. It should be noted that the M1911A1 is a right handed model and Otis is holding with his left hand, this is obvious by the safety switch above his hand.
The M1911A1 is seen again during the graveyard scene.

Colt Diamondback

Killer Karl (Chad Bannon) one of the two robbers in the opening scene uses a Colt Diamondback to attempt to rob Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig).

Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) pulls a Colt Lawman MK III revolver from under his counter to take out the two robbers. It is identifiable by not having a shrouded ejector rod, and by its sights. It is likely the same Lawman used by Sheriff Wydell (William Forsythe) in The Devil's Rejects.

The second robber Richard Wick (David Reynolds) appears to carry a stainless Ruger Security Six revolver with stainless steel finish and a six inch barrel.

Wick manages to blindly fire off a shot before being killed.

Smith and Wesson Model 15

Lt. Wydell (Tom Towles), Deputy Naish (Walton Goggins), and Mama Firefly (Karen Black) all carry Smith and Wesson Model 15 Revolvers. Mama Firefly notably uses one to execute Lt. Wydell.

Otis hands Mother Firefly a Smith and Wesson Model 15.
Naish draws his Smith and Wesson on a dog after it scares him half to death.
Mother Firefly pulls her Smith and Wesson out to use on Wydell.
Naish puts his hands along with his Smith and Wesson in the air, after being cornered by Otis.

Smith and Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special"

In a continuity error, Mama Firefly's Colt Trooper becomes a Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special" when she shoots Wydell.

Shotguns

Sawn-Off Single Barrel Shotgun

During one of the random intermission scenes, a man known as Lewis Dover is wielding a Sawn-off Single barrel shotgun, it is more than likely an H&R or New England Model shotgun.

Full-size Harrington & Richardson Topper Shotgun - 12 gauge. This is a common single barreled breach loading top break shotgun.

Rufus uses a Mossberg 500 Shotgun to shoot out the teenagers tire on their car
