Heckler & Koch USP
The Heckler & Koch USP (Universelle Selbstladepistole, or "Universal Self-loading Pistol") was first introduced in 1993 and is still currently manufactured. It is offered in several calibers - 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The .45 ACP version of the USP has a slightly longer barrel and a slightly taller grip than the 9mm and .40 S&W models.

Heckler & Koch P8
The Heckler & Koch P8 is a variant of the USP adopted by the German army Bundeswehr, chambered in 9x19mm. The P8 has minor differences from the standard USP model, these being translucent magazines, a reversed safety/decocker lever, and a traditional lands-and-grooves barrel instead of a polygonal barrel.

Heckler & Koch USP Tactical
The USP Tactical (.40 S&W or .45 ACP) features a threaded barrel for mounting sound suppressors, adjustable sights, and a match trigger. The 9x19mm version is called "USP SD". It notably lacks the "TACTICAL" nomenclature on the slide, and has a non-adjustable trigger.
