Heart of Bonivur (original title Serdtse Bonivura) is a Soviet 1969 historical mini series directed by Mark Orlov and based on the novel by Dmitry Nagishkin. The story is set in 1922 on Russian Far East, during the last events of Russian civil war. Vitaliy Bonivur (Lev Prygunov) is one of the leaders of Red partisans, struggling against the White forces.

Revolvers

Nagant M1895

Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used by Red underground fighters and partisans, including Vitaliy Bonivur (Lev Prygunov), Aleksey Puzhnyak (Anatoli Yurchenko), Boris Lyubanskiy (Viktor Korshunov), and White officers. All revolvers are of anachronistic post-1930 version.

Old peasant Zhilin (Ivan Pereverzev) owns a Glisenti M1874 revolver. He tells that he took the revolver from a White officer.

Mauser 1910 Pocket Pistol

A Mauser 1910 Pocket Pistol is a personal handgun of American journalist Parker (Georgiy Kulikov) who meet with Red partisans in taiga.

FN Model 1910

White Army Rotmistr (Capt. in cavalry troops) Nikolay Karayev (Pyotr Glebov) carries an FN Model 1910 pistol. "Uncle Kolya" Storozhenkov (Boris Chirkov), the leader of Bolsheviks in Vladivostok, carries a holstered M1910. In the scene of Bonivur's escape Podporuchik Boris Lyubanskiy's (Viktor Korshunov) Nagant revolver switches to an FN Model 1910 due to a continuity error.

Mosin Nagant "Obrez"

Red partisan Nikolay Chekerda (German Kolushkin) uses a Mosin Nagant "obrez".

Sawn-off Mosin Nagant M1891/30 - 7.62x54mm R. In Russian such weapon is called "obrez" which means "cut". It was mostly used by criminals and rebels.

Single Barreled Shotgun

Several Single Barreled Shotguns are seen among the guns, brought to partisans by Bonivur and Puzhnyak. They are most likely Izhmekh shotguns, like IZh-K or IZh-17.

Machine Guns

Degtyaryov DP-27 (visually modified to resemble Lewis)

A Degtyaryov DP-27, visually modified to resemble Lewis, is used by both Reds and Whites. It is fitted with barrel shroud of very unusual shape, fake magazine in Lewis style and pistol grip. This movie prop appears in several other movies, filmed by Dovzhenko Studios, including Tachanka s yuga (1977) and Vystrel v grobu (1992).

OSP-30 Flare Pistol

Vitaliy Bonivur (Lev Prygunov) uses an OSP-30 flare pistol when commanding the partisans to retreat.

Izhmekh IZh-SPL Starting Pistol

IZh-SPL blank firing starting pistol is seen in hands of Boris Lyubanskiy (Viktor Korshunov) during the chase in port. It is probably standing for some pocket pistol of early 20th century.

Mockups of hand grenades, similar with RG-14s or RG-14/30s, are used by Red partisans, including Zhilin (Ivan Pereverzev) and his son Aleksey (Yuriy Nepsha).

F-1 Hand Grenade

Several F-1 hand grenades are seen among the firearms, confiscated by Whites counterintellegence service from Red underground. Zhilin (Ivan Pereverzev) uses an F-1 in the final battle. These anachronistic grenades are probably used as a replacement for Mills Bombs, used during the Russian civil war.
