Different variants of the M1 Carbine are seen used in the series. An M1 Carbine fitted with a scope, wire stock and forward pistol grip is notably used by an double amputee sniper in "Hookman" (S6E01). A remake of this episode aired in Season 3 of the 2010 remake series.

The M16 fitted with various scopes is the weapon of choice for several hitmen in "Tricks Are Not Treats" (S6E07). In the episode, the rifle is described by Duke as an "AR-15".

3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm
