Instead of his Kimber pistol, Lou Grover appears to hold a SIG-Sauer in "Kanalu Hope Loa" (S5E03). In the series' 100th episode "Ina Paha" (S5E07), McGarrett pulls his SIG in a flashback to the pilot.

Grover specifically identifies the weapon as a "Beretta 92FS". In the series' 100th episode "Ina Paha" (S5E07), the Beretta 92FS is seen in the hands of Anton Hess (Norman Reedus) in the alternate reality to the events seen in the pilot episode. Also in the alternate reality, Wo Fat dual-wielded Beretta 92FS pistols that were converted to fire on full auto and were loaded with extended magazines.
