A DAK variant appears as the sidearm carried by members of US Coast Guard in "Lana I Ka Moana" (S3E03). Interestingly, the pistol has a UID label, which brings up the possibility of it being a true Coast Guard sidearm.

As this episode was a direct prequel to Season 1's "Pilot", McGarrett's HK416 was set up almost identically to the one he carried in that episode (NOTE: In the Pilot, Steve's HK416 was fitted with an EOTech 551 and had an under-barrel laser; in this episode, the HK416 has no under-barrel laser, and the EOTech sight on the weapon is an XPS, not a -551).
