The Hard Way is a 1991 action comedy starring Michael J. Fox as a spoiled Hollywood actor named Nick Lang who wants to break into serious roles by learning how to be a real cop. Veteran NYPD detective John Moss (James Woods) finds himself having to escort Lang around the city as they pursue a serial killer known as "The Party Crasher" (Stephen Lang). The film was directed by John Badham (Blue Thunder) and is notable for being one of the first films to feature the Glock 19.
