The film stars Junichi Okada as police detective Yuji Kudo, who accidentally runs over and kills a pedestrian on the way to visit his mother. The film follows his attempt to hide the accident from the police force and his family as he is blackmailed by a mysterious individual who claims to be aware of the accident.
