A full-size, stainless steel version is used by Alice (Naian Gonzalez Norvind) in "Mad City: Look Into my Eyes". Jervis Tetch (Benedict Samuel) uses the pistol to shoot Valerie Vale in "Mad City: Follow the White Rabbit". Zsasz uses Gordon's SW1911SC after being disarmed briefly in "Mad City: Beware the Green Eyed Monster". Frank Gordon (James Remar) briefly takes it from Gordon in "Heroes Rise: These Delicate and Dark Obsessions".

Gordon is seen with an MGC M16 in a hallucination in "Mad City: Red Queen" when he remembers his time in the army.

The MGC M16 Assault rifle: a non firing metal replica built by the Model Gun Corp of Japan and one of the most used non firing replicas of the M16 in movies and television. The 'forward assist' on the early models like the one imaged here are bolt inserts to keep the receiver together. Modern MGC M16 replicas have improved by third parties over the years (like adding A1 flash hiders) making it more accurate to the real thing making it harder for 'Connoisseurs' to identify
