Glory is an 1989 American Civil War movie about the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment, the first all-black Union regiment to fight in the Civil War. It starred Matthew Broderick, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel Washington in his Oscar-winning role. It was directed by Edward Zwick who directed such war films as The Last Samurai, Courage Under Fire, Blood Diamond, and Defiance.

Colt 1860 Army
The Colt 1860 Army revolver is the sidearm carried by most of the Union officers in the film.
Major Cabot Forbes (Cary Elwes) fires his Colt revolver at a charging Confederate soldier.
The Colt 1851 Navy is also seen in the film.
Pvt. Jupiter Sharts (Jihmi Kennedy) tries to load his Enfield rifle as Col. Shaw (Matthew Broderick) fires a Colt 1851 Navy behind him.
