Gladbeck is a 2018 German two-part film drama, which was produced by Ziegler under the direction of Kilian Riedhof. At the center of the incident is the nationwide hostage taking by Gladbeck in August 1988. The two criminals, Hans-Jürgen Rösner and Dieter Degowski, raid a bank in Gladbeck. With a requested escort car, they take the employees of the financial institution as hostages. A two-day escape from the police begins. With Rösner's girlfriend Marion Löblich, now an accomplice, they hijack a bus a short time later in Bremen.
