Ghost Recon: Phantoms (2014)

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Phantoms (previously known as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online) is an online free-to-play third-person shooter video game. After about two years in Beta, it is finally available for the PC. The Wii U version is on hold.

The weapon customization is similar to the one used in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, although it is not as deep. The following parts can be customized for in-game currency and/or Ghost Coins, which is the game's premium currency: sights, stocks, magazines, foregrips, side attachments, flash hiders, barrel lengths, ammo, and weapon finish.

Visit the talk page for info on the weapons removed from the final version.

As of December 2016, the game has been taken offline.

Heckler & Koch USP Tactical - .45 ACP

Ruger Blackhawk

Submachine Guns

Submachine Guns are weapons exclusive to the Recon class.

Calico M960

The Calico M960 appears as the "M960". It is the tier 7 SMG, characterized by having a combination of high damage, RoF, and low readytime, but is hampered by its caliber's low penetration stat. It, along with the CBJ-MS, has the highest magazine capacity capacity for any SMG with the 100-round magazine upgrade and can be made the lightest SMG in the game with the appropriate upgrades. It can be converted into the carbine variant by installing the long-barrel upgrade.

Heckler & Koch MP5

The MP5A2 is the Recon's default SMG weapon. It is unremarkable in all regards due to the lack of customization options and poor stats. There are MP5K, MP5A3, and MP5SD versions are still in the game, which were available during open beta, but are no longer available through the store. The MP5K and MP5SD also still appears in game as special edition weapons in the "Omega" and "Desert" weapon series, respectively.

PP-2000

The PP-2000 appears in the game. It is the tier 1 SMG with average stats for an SMG, but a total upgrade over the MP5. Its default 20-round magazine incorrectly holds 30 bullets, but its extended magazine upgrade carries the correct capacity of 44 rounds.

Shotguns

Shotguns are usable by both the assault and support class.

Benelli M4 Super 90

The Benelli M4 Super 90 appears as the "M1014". It is possible to choose the fixed civilian butt-stock, or no stock at all. It is the tier 2 shotgun the first semi-automatic shotgun available to the player. It does the weakest amount of damage of all the shotguns in the game, but compensated by its high RoF, ease of availability, and wide array of customization options.

Franchi SPAS-12

The Franchi SPAS-12 appears as the SPAS 12. It is the tier 6 shotgun that combines the strengths of pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns by having high damage and RoF, but hampered by its low ammunition pool and average handling.

Of note, GR:P is one of the few games that takes advantage of the SPAS-12's dual-mode feature. Semi-automatic mode allows players to shoot at a faster rate, but the scatter is wide. Pump-action mode gives the shooter lower RoF as the gun has to be pumped every shot, but increases accuracy and tightens the weapon's spread, making it more effective at ranged combat.

High Standard Model 10B

The High Standard Model 10B is called the "Model 10a" in the game despite not having the integrated flashlight. It is the Tier 4 shotgun It deals a high amount of damage but suffers from a low magazine size of 6 and high recoil.

HS Model 10B - 12 Gauge

Kushnapup

The Kushnapup bullpup shotgun appears as the "KPS-12". It is the Tier 5 shotgun and has a mix of high damage, RoF, and handling among semi-automatic shotguns. It has an 8-round box magazine by default, which can be expanded to 10 rounds at the cost of increased reload time.

Kushnapup - 12 Gauge

Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 500 appears in the game as the "M500" and is the assault and support class' starter shotgun and is fitted with a short barrel and standard fixed stock. It is fairly unremarkable as far as pump-action shotguns go due to its overall lacking stats and lack of advanced customization options. There are "Cruiser", "Persuader", and 500A variants of this weapon, which were available during open beta, but are no longer available through the store. The Cruiser variant also still appears in game as a special edition weapon in the "Jungle" weapon series.

NeoStead 2000

The NS2000 appears in the game as the "NS2000". It is the Tier 3 shotgun characterized by having the highest magazine capacity for any shotgun (12 shells maximum) and most powerful single-shot damage. It does however, suffer from slow RoF, which makes misses for this weapon very punishing.

Pancor Jackhammer

The Pancor Jackhammer appears incorrectly as "M3A1" instead of the correct "Mk3A1". It is shown with a railed top. It is the Tier 7 shotgun and is the currently the only fully automatic shotgun in the game. It is very devastating thanks to its high damage stat, RoF, handling, magazine size, and fully-automatic feature. Its drawback is that it scatters much more wider than any other shotgun in the game, which severely limits its ranged combat capabilities.

Pentagun

The Brazilian ENARM Pentagun semi-automatic revolver shotgun appears in the game. The in-game version appears to be fitted with accessory rails in every possible location along with a slightly shortened barrel. It is no longer available to players by the time of release, apart from special-edition versions, but can still be used by people who bought it during the beta. It also still appears in game as a special edition weapon in the "Jungle" and "Assassin's Creed" weapon series.

Valtro PM5

The Valtro PM5 Shotgun appears as "PM5". It is the Tier 1 shotgun in the game and is very versatile and powerful thanks to its high RoF (the fastest for any pump-action shotgun thanks to its short pump system), damage, and 7-round box magazine. The PM5 in game can be converted into a PM5-350 by installing the short barrel upgrade.

Assault Rifles / Battle Rifles

Assault and battle rifles are the exclusive weapons of the assault class (apart from the MK14 and G36, which are recon and support class weapons, respectively.).

AKM

Despite being called an AK-12 in game, it is actually based on a heavily modernized AKM. The main giveaways that betray the weapon, the fire selector switch and the slanted gas block, and the overall shape of the weapon's reciever. The rifle is featured in the game with a railed foregrip and non-removable fixed stock with all-synthetic parts. It is the Tier 7 assault rifle characterized as one of the more balanced 7.62mm weapons, stable yet powerful but slightly lacking in accuracy. It can use either its standard 30 round magazine, two jungle-style magazines, or a 60-round casket magazine.

A variant also appears in the game as the AK-200 (referring to the earlier prototype of the AK-12) and is fitted with wooden foregrips which can only be obtained through loot boxes in 3 separate, class-specific configurations: a standard assault rifle for the assault class, compact carbine for the recon class, and LMG for the support class.

AS Val

The AS VAL is no longer available to players at large but can still be used by players who bought the weapon during Open Beta. It has a high rate of fire, low readytime, and decent armor penetration stats which offset its low damage rating. The weapon incorrectly features it feeding from 30 and 40 round magazines despite the magazines featured in game are only capable of carrying 10 and 20 rounds in real life.

STK SAR 21

The SAR 21 with flat-top instead of the carrying handle (officially designated "SAR 21 RAIL") is featured in the game. It is the Tier 2 assault rifle with powerful damage and high accuracy, but slow RoF and average handling.

FN F2000 Tactical

The FN F2000 Tactical is featured in the game. It is the Tier 5 assault rifle with a high rate of fire, powerful damage, decent accuracy, but poor handling, which makes it unwieldy to use during full-auto. It feeds from 30 round and fictional 40 round magazines.

Heckler & Koch G36

The G36 appears in the game as the "MG36" and is classified as a light machine gun. It is the Tier 4 LMG and is the most versatile LMG in the game, capable of being customized for both assault and support roles thanks to its assault rifle-esque stats. It can be turned into a G36KV by installing the short barrel upgrade. The weapon accepts standard 30 round magazines, 50 round extended magazines, and 100 round C-BETA drum magazines.

Heckler & Koch HK416

A short-barreled HK416 with an M16-styled fixed stock and LR300 handguard is the assault class' starter assault rifle. It is pretty decent as a starter weapon with average stats. There are versions of this rifle with the a 10 inch, 14 inch, and 20 inch barrels, which were available during open beta, but are no longer available through the store. As of latest update, the weapon is available once again with the "Modmaster" Variant.

The game refers to the gun as the "M27", suggesting that it is supposed to be the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle, but it lacks heavy barrel.

IMI Tavor TAR-21

The Tavor TAR-21 appears in the game as the "AR-21". It is the Tier 4 assault rifle and has a combination of high RoF, accuracy, and handling with above-average damage. Although the lack of a magazine upgrade severely limits its ammunition pool.

Mk 14 Mod 0 Enhanced Battle Rifle

The Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR appears incorrectly as the "M14 EBR" and is classified as a sniper rifle as the MK 14 featured in the game is the DMR variant. It is the Tier 7 sniper rifle and is the most accurate, stable, and second most powerful semi-automatic sniper rifle in the game.

M14 Designated Marksman Rifle

The old model of the M14 used during the OBT is based on the M14 DMR with an all-black finish. This model is no longer available to players at large as the M14 currently used in game is based on the MK14 EBR, but is still usable by players who bought the weapon during Open Beta. This model also still appears in game as the special edition version of the M14 in the "Arctic" weapon series.

Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR - 7.62x51mm NATO

OTs-14-1A-02 Groza

The OTs-14-1A-02 Groza is no longer available to players at large but can still be used by players who bought the weapon during Open Beta. It has an average damage rating and RoF, low readytime, and decent armor penetration rating thanks to its caliber. Appears incorrectly as a submachine gun, despite being chambered in 7.62x39mm (noted by the curved magazine) and the developers mistakenly identifying it to use the 9x39mm cartridge. The custom silenced of this weapon also still appears in game as a special edition weapon in the "Desert" weapon series.

Remington ACR

The Remington ACR appears in the game as the "ACR". It is the Tier 3 assault rifle and is the most stable assault rifle in the game with high RoF, accuracy, and stability stats. It does, however, suffer from below-average damage, compared to other assault rifles.

Sniper Rifles

Sniper Rifles are used by the Recon class.

AMSD OM 50 Nemesis (Hybrid)

The AMSD OM 50 Nemesis appears as "Nemesis 50" in the game. The gun is a hybrid, with parts from the Prototype version, and parts from its successor, the Swiss Arms SAN 511. It is the Tier 6 sniper rifle and is the most powerful sniper rifle in the game, but is also the slowest to cycle.

Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention

The Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention appears as "M-200" and features a custom stock and desert paint job. It is the Tier 4 sniper rifle and is the second most powerful sniper rifle in the game, coupled with high accuracy, armor penetration, and magazine size, but has low RoF.

CheyTac M-200 - .408 CheyTac
Note how the stock of the M-200 is from the DSR-1; it even has the magazine well of the gun.

DSR-1
