Release Date: 2015
Shut down on December 6th 2017
Developer: Neople
Publisher: Nexon Inc.
Platforms: PC
Genre: Online first person shooter

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex First Assault was a free-to-play first-person shooter game developed by Neople and published by Nexon. A closed beta ran from October 1st, 2015 to October 5th, 2015. It was first released as an Early Access game on Steam on December 14th, 2015 before finally going into open beta in July 28th, 2016. Players were able to pick and play as members of Section 9 in online multiplayer, as of the "Renewal" update on July 18th, 2017, characters were divided into three classes; Assault, Infiltrator and Specialist. As is common for games of this type, all guns were treated as empty when reloaded and none kept an extra round in their chambers.

In August 2017 it was announced that the game's servers would shut down on December 6th, 2017. Its store page on Steam was removed on that day.

The following weapons appear in the video game: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online:

Pistols

Pistols are available to players with the exception of the P99 and Beretta 84, appearing as holstered weapon props on character models. Unlike primary weapons, they cannot be customized with attachments.

Seburo M5

The Seburo M5 is the default secondary available from the start, it holds a capacity of 20 rounds and has a high rate of fire. Saito has one holstered in his pants when equipping his Signature skin, however, it's purely cosmetic.

SIG-Sauer P226R

The SIG-Sauer P226R briefly appears in a gameplay trailer before it was added in the game's open beta release on July 28th, 2016. Appears as the "SEO P226" and it's automatically given to players upon reaching Level 6. It is more powerful than the Seburo M5 although it has poorer accuracy and a much smaller magazine. It is so far the only weapon to be unlocked for free by reaching a certain rank.

SIG-Sauer P226R - 9x19mm, updated P226 with accessory rails, now the standard production version for the P226 (IMFDB still refers to this model as the "P226R" to distinguish between newer and older models).

FN Five-seveN USG

The Five-seveN appears as the "SN 5-7" in game and was added via a Supply Drop update on January 26th, 2017 and is available to purchase in the Market for 157,250 GP. The gun holds 20 rounds and has the fixed sights of the Five-seveN Mk 2. It has a high rate of fire similar to the M5.

FN Five-seveN USG (U.S. Government) model - FN 5.7x28mm. This is the most common version of the Five-seveN in channels of commerce, but also no longer produced as FN Herstal replaces the USG model with the newer Mk2. It has a frame-mounted safety and an accessory rail. The FN Five-seveN isn't issued with a threaded barrel, but threaded barrels and sound suppressors are commercially available as aftermarket items.
FN Five-seveN Mark 2 - FN 5.7×28mm. This variant is now the standard version of the FN Five-seveN offered by FNH. The Mk2 model has cocking serrations on the front of the slide as well as on the rear. This is a fixed-sight version.

Beretta 93R

The 93R appears as the "93-SE" and was added via the "Maven's Incursion" update on January 14th, 2016. It was one of the first weapons to be released in a update. Available to purchase in the Market for 149,750 GP, it's very deadly at close range, firing 3-round bursts; the player can easily unload a lethal spray of bullets at their foe with a cost to accuracy and range. The 93R is currently the only machine-pistol sidearm in the game.

Mateba 2006M

The Mateba 2006M, first seen in a gameplay trailer being held by Togusa as well in several promotional screenshots. Appeared simply as the Mateba before being renamed to Mateba 2006SM in the "Niihama Ticket" update. It was added via the "He's Just a Natural" update in March 30th, 2016. It's available in the Market for 162,250 GP and serves as a replacement for Togusa's signature Mateba 2008M. The game obviously allows players to use the Mateba 2006M while playing as Togusa. The Mateba is roughly on-par with the Taurus Model 44, although the Mateba has a faster rate of fire and less stopping power.

Mateba 2006M, another unconventional revolver (though not a semi-automatic) made by Mateba, distinguishable from the Model 6 by the cylinder housing, which is enclosed at the top as opposed to the Model 6's open top housing - .357 Magnum
Like in the anime, Togusa's Mateba is a fictional 6 inch auto-revolver
The Mateba also seems to come equipped with invisible speedloaders.
Here we see the sights of the Mateba as well as an enemy quite a distance away...

EAA Witness/Tangfolio T95

The EAA Witness Steel, appearing as the "KCZ-85". It was added on November 9th, 2016 via a small game maintenance. It is available to buy from the Market for 162,250 GP and is one of the most accurate semi automatic sidearms available to the player. It holds 17 rounds and can deal quite the damage based on a player's skill with this weapon.

Taurus Model 44

The Taurus Model 44, appearing as the "44 Magnum", is available on the market for 154,750 GP and is the highest damage dealing secondary. This, as well as the Mateba, appears to fire in double action only and has a very low fire rate to counter its very high damage. Only when the player runs out of ammo will they use the ejector rod to empty spent casings, otherwise reloading while still having ammo will invoke a flick of the wrist to send those bullets on their way.

Beretta 84

A Beretta 84 variant appears on several characters' holsters, despite the Seburo M5 being the standard issue for Section 9. It is not usable.

Submachine Guns

CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1

The CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 appears as the "Deathstalker EVO" (taking its name from an infamously dangerous species of scorpion) and is available from the Market for 212,250 GP. Its transparent magazine isn't animated when firing and is treated simply as a texture.

FN P90

The P90, appears as the "P-90S1". It was added via Supply Drop update on September 6th, 2016 and is available for purchase for 199,750 GP. It has the highest fire rate and is very deadly in CQC as well as being able to fire on longer distances. It has a 50 round magazine; it is the only SMG to come with a high-capacity magazine as its standard as well as having the highest reserve ammo pool in its class. Like all weapons with transparent magazines, it's not animated and is treated as a texture.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

A fictional Heckler & Koch MP5 variant mostly based on an MP5A3 is called the "MP-V5A" in-game and is the default submachine gun given to players. It features an SEF trigger group, a collapsible stock which looks like a halfway design between the fixed and folding stocks for the Remington ACR, custom forearm, and a custom railed upper receiver. The magazine, oddly, is shown as if it has a mag clamp. Players who have purchased one of the Early Access packs would be given a Tachikoma skin for use. While the rounds in the top of the magazine are fully modeled in 3D, the rounds visible through the side window do not visible deplete as the weapon is fired.

Once again, the fire selector is in the "safe" position. Note also that it is modelled with the sides of a standard MP5 collapsible stock in the fully collapsed position, even though it does not have such a stock.

Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW

An MP5K-PDW fitted with a standard MP5 collapsible stock appears as the "MP5K-S3". It features a railed upper like the in-game MP5 (though of a different design) and a Navy trigger group, and is effectively a faster and less-accurate equivalent to the starting MP5. The MP5K-S3 is one of the few weapons to be unlocked by obtaining TP, it's then available for purchase for 14,100 GP.

Heckler & Koch UMP

The UMP appears as the "UMP-45S1", available to purchase for 199,750 GP. It's one of the slowest firing SMGs in game and, for a time, being the highest damage dealing SMG, only to be beaten by the KA-P5W before once again being the highest damage dealing SMG on July 18th, 2017 due to the "Renewal" update moving the KA-P5W to a new PDW class. Like the MP-V5A's magazine, the rounds aren't animated despite being fully modeled in 3D.

PP-2000

The PP-2000 appears as the "PP-2200", it was added via the "Niihama Ticket" update on December 15th, 2016 and is available to purchase for 224,750 GP. Originally in the submachine gun class, it was later changed to a PDW class in the "Renewal" update on July 18th, 2017. It is only usable by Specialist characters. It features a raised and extended Picatinny rail, making it somewhat resemble having a carrying handle. The PP-2200 is currently the only weapon outside sniper rifles to use an actual extended magazine if modded, whereas the other weapons will use dual magazines instead. The original name in Russian, ПП-2000, is visible on the pistol grip.

Seburo C26A

The Seburo C26A first appeared in several promotional screenshots with an older model as well as being seen in the game's intro when starting the game, being held by Motoko. The C26A is now classifed as an SMG, despite originally being an assault rifle. It was added via the "Up Close and Personal" update on July 27th, 2016 along with three other Seburo weapons. It's available to purchase for 302,250 GP, making it the most expensive SMG so far. The C26-A now features a traditional magazine instead of the crooked magazine seen in the anime, as well as appearing more boxy than round.

SIG-Sauer MPX

The SIG-Sauer MPX appears as the "SEO MPX", added via the "Maven's Incursion" update on January 14th, 2016. It was one of the first weapons to be released by a update and is available for purchase for 212,250 GP. Previously dealing 29 damage, it was buffed to 30 with after a update. It is the second highest damage dealing SMG. The MPX shares its reload animation with the Deathstalker EVO and the KA-P5W.

TDI Vector

The TDI Vector first appeared in a gameplay trailer with an older model sporting a black and grey two tone being used by Motoko. Appears as the "KRIS-SV". It's available in the Market for 187,250 GP, it is among one of the most stable firing SMGs of its class, however, deals the lowest amounts of damage and only effective in close quarters.

Assault Rifles

AKM

The AKM appears as the "AK47". The AK47 is the highest damage dealing assault rifle, and can be fitted with barrels that increases the damage further. It's available to purchase for 249,750 GP. It's highly accurate despite being described as being difficult to handle. The version in-game is a mixture of the barrel and gas port of an AK-47 and the receiver and pistol grip of an AKM. Older builds of the game had the AK47's model resemble more of a traditional AKM with synthetic furniture.

Beretta ARX-160

The Beretta ARX-160 appears as the "KHX-160" in game. It was added via the "FC: Part I - Persona" update on March 22nd, 2017 and is available to purchase for 237,250 GP. The KHX-160 is extremely accurate and effective in almost all ranges, even without the aid of attachments.

Bushmaster ACR

The Bushmaster ACR appears as the "ACR1-G2" is very briefly seen in a gameplay trailer with a TruSight red dot. It is available in the Market for purchase for 237,250 GP, despite its claim to be "solid performance in almost all situations", the ACR1-G2 is considered to be one of the poorest performing assault rifle in the community.

Daewoo K2

What appears to be civilian semi-auto Daewoo K2, appears as the "K22". It was being dropped by a "Kraken" member after being knifed in a gameplay trailer and is available for 224,750 GP. It features a Picatinny rail as well as an extended and bigger handguard. This assault rifle has a very mid-range set of stats for itself. The fact that it has a very decent fire rate along with stability making it a good choice for players. The K22 being incorporated in the game is most likely that the developers are based in South Korea.

FAMAS F1

The FAMAS appears as the "F-MAS G-1", it was added via the "Fear The Unknown" update on June 21st, 2016. It's available for 237,250 GP and currently has the lowest amount of ammo in its category. The F-MAS G-1 has similar stats as the S25-R, and can have a barrel upgrade to increase accuracy and damage; this makes the FAMAS have a slight edge over the S25 when fully upgraded. Equipping one of the available bipods will make the built-in bipod folded down.

FN F2000

The FN F2000 appears as the "F2020". It was added via Supply Drop update on September 21st, 2016 and is available to purchase for 237.250 GP. It has one of the highest rate of fire of its category, it's effective in most cases, making the F2020 a popular choice by players. The F2020 was later nerfed in a update.

Heckler & Koch HK417

The HK417 appears as the "KH-417" and is erroneously labeled as an assault rifle despite the HK416 being a more accurate representation. Added via the "A Whisper is Coming" update in April 18th, 2016 and available for 237,250 GP. This "assault rifle" has a very high accuracy and can be compared to the AK47, both having similar stats. The HK417 has the second highest damage in the assault rifle class, only to be beaten by the AK47 by 1 damage point. Oddly holds 30 rounds in a 20 round magazine. Like all weapons with transparent magazines, it's not animated and is treated as a texture.

IWI X95R

The IWI X95R appears as the "S25-R" and was added via the "Maven's Incursion" update on January 14th, 2016. It was one of the first weapons to be released in a update and is available in the Market for 249,750 GP. It has the fastest fire rate out of all the assault rifles however deals the least damage. The S25-R can get low on ammo rather quickly if the player is careless enough due to the high rate of fire.

Knight's Armament PDW

The Knight's Armament PDW appears as the "KA-P5W" and was released via the "FC: Part I - Persona" update on March 22nd, 2017. It's available for 212,250 GP. The KA-P5W was originally in the submachine gun class before being moved to a PDW class in the "Renewal" update on July 18th, 2017. It is now only usable by Specialist characters. It has the same reload animations as the MPX and Deathstalker EVO and shares its firing sound with the K22. It's currently the highest damage PDW available, dealing 35 damage by default. The inventory and loadout icons depicts the KA-P5W having the real life barrel of the PDW, but the actual in game model uses a generic model of the default barrel.

M4A1

The Colt M4A1 is one of the few firearms with an unaltered name in the game. It was first seen in a gameplay trailer being used by "Kraken" soldiers and some members of Section 9 as well as in several promotional screenshots. The M4A1 is the default assault rifle given at the start. The perfomance of it is well rounded and can be competing against better weapons if modded correctly. It features a rectangle handguard and what appears to be a faint digital camo on the upper handguard and stock, applying a weapon skin removes it. Older builds of the game had the M4A1 loadout icon missing its carrying handle, it was added in later builds. The USS 12 reuses the carrying handle from the M4A1. Players who have purchased one of the Early Access packs would be given a Tachikoma skin for use.

Seburo C-30

The Seburo C30 was added via the "Up Close and Personal" update on July 27th, 2016 along with three other Seburo weapons. It's available for 319,750 GP, making it the most expensive assault rifle in game. Unlike in the anime, the C-30 ingame is loaded by a normal box magazine and has a different default sight. It also doesn't feature its underbarrel grenade launcher as seen in the anime.

Shotguns

Remington 870 MCS

The Remington 870 appears as the "870-ICS" and is one of the few weapons to be unlocked by TP. It's then available for 19,600 GP. It first appeared in several promotional screenshots being used by Borma. Holding 8 shells, this shotgun deals the most damage out of all the shotguns but this has been counteracted by its very slow rate of fire. For some reason, this shotgun features two sets of iron sights initially, probably because the standard ones were too difficult to use in game and the extra ones providing a more uniform iron sight setup. The shotguns in this game have said to have a range of up to 25m. However, on multiple occasions, pellets have extended this by 2 or 3 meters. Older builds of the game had the 870-ICS modeled with a side saddle, a Magpul styled MOE stock and vented barrel.

Kel-Tec KSG

The Kel-Tec KSG appears in this game as the "KSG-G1" and is available for 212,250 GP. It appeared being used by Batou in a gameplay trailer with a Quick Point S1 red dot, however, the sight is not available for the shotgun. It also appeared in a promotional screenshot being held by Paz. Much like in other video games, reloading is inaccurate and switching of the magazine tubes is non-existent. This is depicted as the most accurate shotgun in the game and holds 14 shells. This shotgun has been known to glitch a suppresor that doesn't align with the barrel and is purely aesthetic, to the user the shotgun will appear to make no sound at all.

Other Weapons

Arm Launcher

Batou's ability, is being able to equip an Arm Launcher. It appeared in a gameplay trailer used against a group of enemies. Seemingly based on Batou's arm gun from Ghost in the Shell 2: Innonence. Tier 1 fires one rocket while Tier 2 fires four rockets in automatic fire as of the "Renewal" update on July 18th, 2017. It's also very effective against Think Tanks, Tachikomas will be destroyed with one rocket, regardless of its health.
