Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

The following weapons were used in the film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai:

Pistols

Astra A-100

Ghost Dog (Forest Whitaker) uses an Astra A-100 9mm with a laser sight and suppressor as his main sidearm. You can see it best when he gets the drop on his boss Louie (John Tormey).

Astra A-100 - .40 S&W

Ghost Dog holds his Astra on Louie Louie (John Tormey), keeping his finger off the trigger, as he is not planning to kill his employer. Note the shape of the textured portion of the grip, the ringed hammer, the shape of the trigger guard and the takedown catch under the ejection port.

The Astra next to Ghost Dog's Ruger .22

Ghost Dog aims the Astra up the drain pipe of Sonny Valerio.

SIG-Sauer P220

A mobster goon at the mansion shootout has what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P220, possibly a rubber prop.

SIG-Sauer P220 - .45 ACP

Goon with a SIG pistol is shot during Ghost Dog's assault.

Ruger MK II

Ghost Dog's other pistol is a suppressed Ruger Mk II. There's a great look at the threads for the suppressor and the home-made suppressor itself in a scene where Ghost Dog is cleaning the weapon and the suppressor, but my screen caps got messed up. You can see the gun pretty clearly in the images below, though.

Flashpaper Beretta Inox

In the flashback where Ghost Dog and Louie meet, Louie fires what appears to be a flashpaper firing Beretta Inox Non-Gun replica (note how the barrel is lower than that of a regular Beretta 92F).

The thug that threatens to kill Ghost Dog in the flashback is armed with a Beretta M1934.

Taurus PT92/100

Louie's gun for the rest of the film is a stainless Taurus PT100. In the last scene the barrel markings on the left side read ".40 caliber," and the gun has a frame-mounted safety.

Taurus PT92AFS - 9x19mm

Louis carries his Taurus Mexican style, and is disarmed in a flash by Ghost Dog when the gun is needed...

...to shoot Marini.

In this shot you can see the safety, looks like a Taurus.

Beretta 92FS

Marini is seen with a Beretta 92FS.

Stainless M1911A1

One of the goons we see on screen several times carries a stainless M1911A1.

Nickel M1911A1 - .45 ACP

The 1911 goon is the second to be killed by Ghost Dog during the mansion assault. Ghost Dog's eyes appear to be closed, but with Forest Whitaker it's sometimes hard to tell, he may just be squinting.

Bruni ME-8 Police (Walther PPK Stand-In)

Handsome Frank's weapon during the first assassination scene is a Bruni ME-8 Police, a 8mm blank-fire replica of the Walther PPK.

A Bruni/BBM "ME-8 Police" 8mm blank firing gun (used to impersonate a Walther PPK).

Revolvers

Dan Wesson PPC

A Dan Wesson PPC is used by Snake when he and Uncle Joe harass the Cayuga Indian on the rooftops.

Dan Wesson PPC Stainless Steel - .357 Magnum

Snake shoots one of the Cayuga man's pigeons.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Ghost Dog takes a Smith & Wesson Model 36 with faux-pearl grips from Raymond (Isaach De Bankole) and unloads it to prevent his friend from interfering in the showdown with Louie.

Rifles / Carbines

Ruger Mini-14 GB-F

Ghost Dog retrieves a Ruger Mini-14 with a folding stock from under his floorboards after the mobsters kill his pigeons. Like his other weapons, he fits it with a homemade suppressor. He is about to snipe Mr. Vargo (Henry Silva) outside his mansion with this rifle when his shot is disrupted by a finch landing on the suppressor and blocking his view through the scope.

Ruger Mini-14 GB-F - 5.56x45mm

The gun in its case.

Aiming at Mr. Vargo.

Ghost Dog marvels at the cheeky bird who blocked his sniper shot, forcing him to charge the mobsters with his pistols. Being a nature lover, he bears it no ill will.

Unknown Rifle

Seen in the back of the poachers' truck. The older poacher (Jonathan Cook) makes a grab for it before Ghost Dog kneecaps him.

Shotguns

Sawed-off Shotgun

An ultra-shortened Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun is used by Uncle Joe (Joseph Rigano), make/model unknown.

A Sawed-off Stevens 1960s SBS with very short barrels - 12 Gauge (Photoshopped). Made from one of MPM's pictures.

The bear hunter (Tracy Howe) who threatens Ghost Dog pulls an Over/Under Shotgun from his truck bed.
