Gerard Revolver

The Gerard Revolver was designed by Liege gunsmith Théophile Gerard; it was later manufactured by a number of other gunmakers such as Manufacture Liègeoise, Jules Kauffman and Alf Simonis. This revolver was adopted by the Brazilian Army in 1883 and phased out in 1906 after the Luger was adopted; but remained in use with some police forces up to the 1930s
