Gang Related (2014)

The following weapons were used in the television series Gang Related (2014):

Handguns

Kimber SIS

In "Pilot" (S1E01), Det. Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez) is given a Kimber SIS pistol that he carries throughout the series. The SIS pistol also is carried by Sam Chapel (Terry O'Quinn). In "Pilot" (S1E01), Chapel identifies the pistol as a "Kimber 1911". This particular model was originally manufactured for members of the LAPD's Special Investigation Section.

In "Pilot" (S1E01), Det. Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez) draws his Kimber SIS pistol during a drug bust.

Sam Chapel (Terry O'Quinn) fires the SIS at Metas Cartel gangsters in the same pistol.

In "Sangre Por Sangre" (S1E02), Ryan draws his Kimber at Cassius's CI.

Ryan shows his Kimber SIS to Clark Schiller to threaten him to pin the "murder" of a Long Beach Lord enforcer's child on him in "Invierno Cayo" (S1E05).

Sam takes aim with his SIS at an entry point at a Metas Cartel hideout during an anti-gang raid in "Dia De Todos Los Santos".

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is the original sidearm of Det. Ryan Lopez before he switches to the Kimber. The Glock 17 is the sidearm of FBI Special Agent Tae Kim (Sung Kang) and ICE Agent Veronica "Vee" Dotsen (Inbar Lavi).

3rd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm

FBI Special Agent Tae Kim (Sung Kang) has his Glock 17 drawn in "Invierno Cayo" (S1E05).

ICE Agent Veronica "Vee" Dotsen (Inbar Lavi) is armed with her Glock 17 as she clears an apartment hallway in the middle of "El Zorro y el Gallinero" (S1E08).

Glock 17 (Two-Tone)

Sonny Watts (Myron Prime) uses a two-tone Glock 17 with an extended magazine during a standoff in "El Zorro y el Gallinero" (S1E08).

SIG-Sauer P229

The SIG-Sauer P229 is the sidearm carried by DEA Agent Cassius Green (RZA) throughout the series.

Armed with the SIG-Sauer P229, Cassius corners Yuri Letnov at the start of "Perros" (S1E04).

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is used by gang members throughout the series.

Current American made Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm. Note the slanted dust cover, recurved backstrap and hex grip screws which distinguish this from earlier versions.

In "Perros" (S1E04), a gangster holds a nurse hostage with what appears to be a Beretta 92G Elite 1A.

Heckler & Koch P7M13

A stainless steel Heckler & Koch P7M13 is used by Javier Acosta (Cliff Curtis) near the end of "Dia De Todos Los Santos" to fire at Metas Cartel gangsters, including Miguel Salazar.

Smith & Wesson 469

A Russian Mafiya gangster appears to be armed with a Smith & Wesson 469 at the entrance of the pet clinic after the GTF initiates a raid in the middle of "Perros" (S1E04).

Smith & Wesson 5906

In "Invierno Cayo" (S1E05), a Smith & Wesson 5906 pistol is used by Andy Schiller (Jake Borelli) while under the influence of contaminated butter drugs. LAPD IA Detective Paul Carter (Jay Karnes) appears to have a 5906 in his duty holster, first seen in "El Zorro y el Gallinero".

Taurus PT 24/7

A Taurus PT 24/7 is brandished by a Korean drug dealer named Eddy Lin when the GTF tries to make an arrest in "Invierno Cayo" (S1E05).

Taurus PT911

A Taurus PT911 was handed to Daniel Acosta (Jay Hernandez) by a Metas Cartel gangster in "Regreso Del Infierno" (S1E07).

A Walther PPK was used by Carlos Acosta to attack Detective James Tanner in "Pilot" (S1E01).

Brügger & Thomet MP9

Brügger & Thomet MP9s are used by Metas Cartel assassins in "Dia De Todos Los Santos" as their main weapon.

The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is used by the members of the Gang Task Force as well as gangsters throughout the series.

Several gangsters and assassins are armed with the Heckler & Koch UMP throughout the series.

Assault Rifles

Colt Model 933

The Colt Model 933 is the main rifle carried by members of the Gang Task Force. Some of the rifles seen are actually Classic Army M15A4 CQB airsoft replicas.

In "Sangre Por Sangre" (S1E02), ICE Agent Veronica "Vee" Dotsen (Inbar Lavi) is armed with the rifle, which is actually a Classic Army M15A4 CQB airsoft replica (Note the "Armalite" markings over the magwell).

Special Agents Kim and Dotsen are armed with 933s as they sweep a hallway (S1E04).

Lopez is "forced" to open fire on a Los Angelicos gangster near the end of "Entre Does Tierras" (S1E06).

Cassius aims the Model 933 at hijackers in "Regreso Del Infierno" after the unmarked DEA van was seized (S1E07).

The M15A4 held by Special Agent Kim in "Dia De Todos Los Santos", which further confirms that CA AEGs are used for scenes where actors/stuntment involved do not need to fire a weapon in a scene.

AKMS

What appears to be an AKMS assault rifle is used by a Chino Skins armored car robber in "Pilot" (S1E01).

AKMSU

The AKMSU is a weapon frequently carried by gangsters in the series.

AKMSU Krinkov - 7.62x39mm. This is a blank adapted full auto transferable AKM (7.62x39mm) pistol that was converted into a Krinkov via parts kit. Guns just like this one have been used in Tropic Thunder, Three Kings, and numerous other movies and TV shows.

One of the LBL gangsters is armed with an AKMSU in "Pilot" (S1E01).

FN SCAR-L

An FN SCAR-L assault rifle is seen used by a Chino Skins armored car robber who is chasing down an armored truck in "Pilot" (S1E01).

Vee is armed with a Heckler & Koch G36C, replacing the Colt Model 933 in "Entre Dos Tierras" (S1E06).

In "Pilot" (S1E01), Vee is seen using a Barrett M82A1 to provide cover.

Remington 870 (Breacher)

A Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a pistol grip, breaching muzzle, and saddle shell holder is used by officers of the Gang Task Force to breach locked doors.

In "Sangre Por Sangre" (S1E02), Tae uses the Remington during a raid.

Mossberg 500

A LBL gangster uses a Mossberg 500AT at the end of "Pilot" (S1E01).

A Benelli M1 Super 90 is seen used by Rodriguez's partner, Detective James Tanner (Ross Thomas) at the beginning of "Pilot" (S1E01).
