The Franhci LAW-12 was developed from the SPAS-12. It omits the pump action option of the SPAS-12 and is semi auto only, meaning it is lighter, simpler and easier to maintain. Many SPAS-12 parts, such as muzzle devices, magazine tubes, trigger packs and stocks, are compatible with the LAW-12.
