In the night scene in "The Cage" (S8E2) one of the guards in Barton Hall is armed with a submachine gun. The firearm is seen blurry due to swift motions. It slightly resemble a Thompson but the space between the pistol grip and the magazine seems to be larger that on Thompsons.
