The Foreigner (2003)

The Foreigner is a 2003 DTV action film starring Steven Seagal as Jonathan Cold, a former deep cover operative who now works transporting high risk packages. He then finds himself being pursued by rival agents and other operatives who want the new package he has to deliver. Seagal would reprise his role as Cold in the 2005 DTV film Black Dawn.

Handguns

MAG-95

Jonathan Cold (Steven Seagal) uses a MAG-95 pistol, sometimes fitted with a suppressor, as his main sidearm throughout the movie. As the movie was filmed primarily in Poland, the MAG-95 is one of many Polish-made firearms which appear in the film. Due to a continuity error, the suppressed 1911 used by Mr. Mimms (Sherman Augustus) becomes the MAG-95 during a confrontation in which the pistol is kicked out of his hand.

Bruni GAP 8mm (Glock 17 replica)

Dunoir (Max Ryan) carries what appears to be a suppressed 2nd Generation Glock 17 as one of his two sidearms throughout the movie. Upon close inspection, this Glock is actually a Bruni GAP 8mm blank gun, unlike his other Glock (a 3rd Generation 17L), which is in fact a real firearm.

During a shootout in France, Dunoir (Max Ryan) takes cover while holding his two Glocks; the one in his left hand is a suppressed Glock 17 (actually a Bruni Gap 8mm replica).

Glock 17L

Dunoir (Max Ryan) also uses a 3rd Generation Glock 17L as one of his two sidearms in the movie. It is recognizable as the 17L due to the squared edges of the tip of the slide, unlike the Glock 34 in which the edges are rounded. Unlike the suppressed Glock 17 which Dunoir uses, which is in reality a Bruni Gap 8mm replica, the Glock 17L appears to be a real (blank-adapted) firearm. The Glock 17L is also used by a CIA operative.

Walther PPK

As a backup weapon, Dunoir (Max Ryan) carries a Walther PPK, which he uses at Alexander Marquee's (Philip Dunbar's) mansion after Marquee's bodyguards confiscate his two Glocks. This gun also appears to be the backup weapon of Mr. Mimms (Sherman Augustus), though it is not seen clearly enough to be certain.

Springfield Armory Mil-Spec M1911A1

During the assault on the mansion, Dunoir (Max Ryan) uses a Springfield Armory Mil-Spec M1911A1 which is handed to him by Jonathan Cold. It appears to be a 9x19mm version.

An unknown two-tone 1911 variant is used with a suppressor by Mr. Mimms (Sherman Augustus). This may also be a blank-firing replica of some type, like many of the other handguns in the film.

Another thug in Norway uses a Walther P99, which may or may not be an Umarex blank-firing replica.

Beretta 92FS replica

Several of Jerome Van Aken's (Harry Van Gorkum's) security guards carry Beretta 92FS pistols as sidearms, which appear to be 8mm blank replicas (most likely the Bruni Model 92).

Unknown pistol

One of Marquee's men is seen threatening Dunoir with an unknown pistol, which is only seen very briefly when he flashes the gun at Dunoir.

Shotguns

Magtech MT 586.2PG

Cold also uses the Magtech MT 586.2PG shotgun, after taking it from an assassin in Norway. This gun is also used at Hotel Terminus by Mr. Mimms (Sherman Augustus) to shoot at Dunoir, and is also used by a gunman during the opening shootout in France. For some reason, whenever the shotgun is fired in this movie, characters are able to fire it very quickly, almost as if it were a semi-automatic weapon rather than a pump-action shotgun.

Magtech MT 586.2PG - 12 Gauge

PM-84P Glauberyt

Dunoir (Max Ryan) is seen carrying a PM-84P Glauberyt submachine gun in the second half of the movie, after he retrieves it from his secret weapons stash.

Due to a continuity error, the PM-84P Glauberyt which Dunoir carries in the latter part of the movie becomes a PM-63 RAK at Jerome Van Aken's (Harry Van Gorkum's) mansion. Earlier in the film, this weapon is also seen briefly in the hands of a CIA operative.

Radom-Hunter

Dunoir (Max Ryan) is seen carrying a Radom-Hunter fitted with a scope and suppressor as his main sniper rifle, after he retrieves it from his weapons stash. Jonathan Cold (Steven Seagal) also uses the rifle to take out several guards at Jerome Van Aken's (Harry Van Gorkum's) mansion, with the rifle steadied by being tied to a tree.

Radom Hunter - 7.62x39mm

Dunoir takes out his secret stash of weapons. His Radom Hunter rifle is visible on the left, while the PM-84P Glauberyt is visible on the right. Beneath the PM-84P is another Glock of some type (likely the Bruni Gap 8mm that he uses in other scenes in the movie).

Wz. 89 Onyks short-barreled assault rifles (Polish AKS-74U clones) are used by many of Jerome Van Aken's (Harry Van Gorkum's) mansion security personnel throughout the movie.

After Cold takes out the first two guards, a third comes running towards him with his wz.89 ready...

...only to die acrobatic-style moments later. Note wire stock on the wz.89, the key visual difference between this gun and the AKS-74U.

AKS-47

AKS-47 rifles are used by several gunmen who assault Jonathan Cold and Dunoir during the package retrieval scene in the beginning of the movie. They are also used by several of Jerome Van Aken's (Harry Van Gorkum's) mansion security personnel. Since this movie was filmed in Poland, the AKS-47s are almost surely Polish-manufactured Kbk copies.

SKS

SKS rifles with underfolding bayonets are held by Honor Guards in Warsaw, Poland.

Russian Simonov Type 45 aka the Russian SKS rifle - 7.62x39mm. The Russian SKS has a milled receiver and a blade bayonet. The rifles were issued with hardwood or laminated stocks. This example has a hardwood stock.
