Fear over the City (Peur sur la ville) is a 1975 French crime triller directed by Henri Verneuil and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo as Paris police Commissioner Jean Letellier. Letellier has two opponents: his old enemy, gangster Marcucci, and maniacal killer calling himself Minos.

The following weapons were used in the film Fear over the City (Peur sur la ville):

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 38

Smith & Wesson Model 38 revolvers are service sidearms of Commissioner Jean Letellier (Jean-Paul Belmondo) and other French police detectives.

Colt Trooper Mk III

In the flashback scene Letellier (Jean-Paul Belmondo) uses a Colt Trooper Mk III with 4-inch barrel. Later he uses the same revolver during firefight with Marcucci in Paris subway. In this scene Letellier's revolver several times switches from Smith & Wesson Model 38 to Colt Trooper and back again in a continuity error.

Arminius revolver

In one scene an unnamed police inspector (Henry Djanik) carries an Arminius revolver. The exact model is unclear, thought Arminius HW-3 is a reasonable guess.
