Fear Is the Key is a 1972 crime thriller directed by Michael Tuchner and based on the novel by Alistair MacLean (Ice Station Zebra).

In the scene in the court John Talbot (Barry Newman) disarms a deputy and takes his Colt revolver (looks like a Colt Police Positive).

Unidentified Colt revolver

A revolver with typical Colt grip is carried by one of Vyland's henchmen. Only the grip is seen so it's hard to identify the revolver though it can be the same Colt Police Positive or a Colt Official Police that was used by Talbot in the beginning of the movie.

Pistols

Manufrance Le Francais Pocket pistol

Royale's (Ben Kingsley) personal weapon is a pocket pistol that is supposed to be a Manufrance Le Francais model in .25 caliber. In the original novel Royale's pistol is also described as .25.

Pocket pistol

In the scene in a bar the bartender (Ernie Heldman) tries to get his pistol but John Talbot (Barry Newman) disarms him. The pistol is seen very briefly and is hard to be identified but it differs from Royale's pistol.

Talbot holds the bartender's pocket pistol.

M1911

Herman Jablonsky's (Dolph Sweet) personal weapon is an M1911 pistol. An M1911 or M1911A1 is seen in hands of one of FBI agents in the final scene.

Jablonsky aims his pistol at Talbot.

The pistol is seen from the back.

A grip is seen. This view allows to identify Jablonsky's pistol as M1911, not M1911A1.

An FBI agent, disguised as an oil rig worker, holds his pistol in the final scene.

In the final scene one of the FBI agents carries a Walther P38 (truly unusual weapon for a G-Man!).
