Fatal Beauty is a 1987 action film directed by Tom Holland and starring Whoopi Goldberg as Detective Rita Rizzoli, an undercover L.A. narcotics detective tracking down the origins of a new deadly drug known as "Fatal Beauty". She then finds herself being hunted by two deadly thugs intent on stealing the drug for themselves and having to be protected by a bodyguard (Sam Elliott). The cast includes Rubén Blades, Harris Yulin and Brad Dourif, who would later reunite with director Holland for the horror film Child's Play.

Mike Marshak (Sam Elliott) carries and uses the Smith & Wesson Model 629 with a four inch barrel.
Smith & Wesson Model 686 (snub)
Det. Rita Rizzoli (Whoopi Goldberg) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 686 snubnose revolver while on an undercover operation. A similar nickel revolver is held by Conrad Kroll (Harris Yulin).
Smith & Wesson Model 64
During the shootout with the crazed suspect, some detectives and uniformed officers appear to be use the Smith & Wesson Model 64 revolver. Mall security also use the revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 2 Double Action
During a shootout, a drug-crazed suspect is armed with a small revolver that resembles a Smith & Wesson Model 2 Double Action.
Pistols
Beretta 950 Jetfire
During one of her many undercover operations Det. Rizzoli (Whoopi Goldberg) uses what appears to be a nickel-plated Beretta Jetfire.
Taurus PT99 (Stainless)
The stainless Taurus PT99 is the main sidearm carried by Det. Rita Rizzoli (Whoopi Goldberg) as well as other officers, including Carl Jimenez (Rubén Blades).
Smith & Wesson Model 39
Leo Nova (Brad Dourif) appears to use a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 39.
Smith & Wesson Model 469
During the shootout with a drug-crazed suspect, a detective is seen with what appears to be nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 469.

Ithaca Model 37 Deer Slayer Police Special
During a stand-off with a drug crazed suspect, one of the uniformed officers uses an Ithaca 37 Deer Slayer Police Special.
Remington 870 (Cut-down)
Basqual (Gary Cervantes, credited in this film as "Carlos Cervantes"), a henchman guarding both the drugs and the money appears to be carrying a cut-down Remington 870.
Remington 870 (Pistol Grip)
A Remington 870 is seen in the hands of one of the henchmen standing guard. The shotgun has been fitted with a pistol grip and an extended magazine tube.
Submachine Guns
Ruger AC556K
Earl Skinner (Mike Jolly), Leo Nova's partner, uses the Ruger AC556K throughout the movie.
Sterling SMG
The Sterling SMG is Leo Nova's (Brad Dourif) weapon of choice throughout the film. The Sterling SMG is seen with the mags taped together "jungle-style".
Heckler & Koch HK94 (chopped and converted)
One of the criminal henchmen is armed with what appears to a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 while standing guard. Given the time period that the film was made (the late 1980s) the weapon is likely a Heckler & Koch HK94 with the barrel chopped and converted to resemble the MP5A3.
Rifles/Carbines
AKS-47
The criminal henchmen walking the catwalks are seen with AK-47 rifles with folding stocks.
Colt Sporter 1 Carbine
Candy (Emilia Ayarza), one of the criminals guarding the drugs and the money, appears to be armed with a Colt Sporter 1 Carbine with XM177-style flash hider and a hi-cap drum magazine.
Steyr AUG
One of the criminal henchmen is armed with a Steyr AUG while standing guard.
Winchester Model 1892
During the climactic shootout at the end of the movie, Det. Rizzoli (Whoopi Goldberg) empties her Taurus PT92 pistol. Fortunately, the shootout is taking place in a sporting goods store, so she smashes a display case and grabs a Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine, with a large loop lever and uses it very effectively.
Sporting Goods Rifles
Rizzoli is seen in the sporting goods store smashing a display case containing several rifles, including the Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine.
