The movie starts the Golan-Globus Ninja film series and is followed by Revenge of the Ninja (1983) and Ninja III: The Domination (1984).

The following weapons were used in the film Enter the Ninja:

Handguns

M1911A1

Most of Venarius' henchmen carry M1911A1 pistols. In the flashback scene both Cole (Franco Nero) and Frank Landers (Alex Courtney) carry pistols in holsters. The pistols themselves are not seen but the holsters are of the type that was used with M1911s.

Shotguns

Rifles

M1917 Enfield

M1917 Enfield rifles are seen in hands of the guards in Landers' estate. They can be identified due the shape of the bolt handle and the rear sight. According to the fact that the movie was filmed in the Philippines, the rifles are most likely former US Army M1917s, issued to Philippine Commonwealth Army and Philippine Constabulary.

Assault Rifles

Colt/Elisco Tools Model 653P

In the flashback scene both Cole (Franco Nero) and Frank Landers (Alex Courtney) carry carbine versions of M16. Same carbines are seen in hands of several Venarius' henchmen. Dollars (Will Hare) uses one such gun, taken from a henchman. These carbines look like Colt Model 653 but according to the fact that the movie was filmed in the Philippines, they are most likely license-manufactured Elisco Model 653P. The carbines also feature the newer round forward assist plunger which is an indicator of the Elisco Model 653P, as opposed to the original Colt manufactured Model 653 which had the older teardrop shaped plunder.
