PPD-40 DSZ

A special variant of the PPD-40 appears as part of a premium squad bundle; referred to as the "PPD-40 DSZ", it is fitted with a muzzle brake and bayonet lug for mounting an SVT-40 bayonet (alongside various other manufacturing changes, such as a rather distinctive bolt through the stock). The name "DSZ" is an abbreviation of "Dalnevostochniy Sudostroitelniy Zavod" (Far Eastern Shipbuilding Plant) as the weapon is based on a limited run of PPDs produced by (of all things) Shipyard #202 in Vladistovok between 1942 and 1943.
