The End of the Emperor of the Taiga (Konets imperatora taygi) is a Soviet 1978 action movie directed by Vladimir Sarukhanov. The story takes place in mid-1920s in Khakassia, a region in south Siberia. It is based on real events, and the main characters of the movie are real people: Ivan Solovyov, the leader of anti-Soviet guerrilla warfare in Khakassia, and Arkady Golikov (later known as writer Arkady Gaidar), 18-years-old commander of Red Army special detachment.

Lewis machine guns are used by both Red Army and Solovyov's men. A single movie prop is used in the movie. It is converted aircraft gun has a makeshift barrel cover. Later the same movie prop was used in Bread, Gold and the Nagant Revolver (Khleb, zoloto, nagan).
