He uses it on multiple occasions, most notably to dispatch some of Northmoor's private security personnel working for Jack Bennett (Danny Huston). A Massachusetts state trooper briefly uses a Glock 17 in one scene. The theatrical poster also shows Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) wielding a full-size older 2nd Generation Glock 17 (noted by the lack of accessory rail), though he does not use this particular Glock model in the film.
