Drummer-Crab (original title Le Crabe-Tambour) is a 1977 French war drama directed by Pierre Schoendoerffer. It depicts the story of a French naval officer, a participant of First Indochina War, local conflicts in Africa, Algerian War and Generals' putsch of 1961.

M1890 Turkish Mauser
A Mauser rifle is seen in hands of Willsdorff (Jacques Perrin) when he rose from a slave to a warchief of the African tribe. The shape of the magazine and of the stock allows to identify the rifle as a Turkish M1890.
Argentinean Mauser 1891 - 7.65x53mm Mauser. This rifle is very similar to Turkish M1890, except for the top side of the stock.
