District B13 is a French Action film, released overseas under the name Banlieue 13.

DistrictB13.jpg

The following guns appeared in this movie:

FAMAS-F1

  • The FAMAS-F1 was used by the French National Police who are guarding the barricade to District B13
FAMAS F1 Rifle - 5.56mm NATO
French Police at a check point into District B13 holding FAMAS-F1 Rifles- 5.56mm NATO.
French Police fire their FAMAS-F1 Rifles - 5.56mm NATO

Remington 870 Express

  • Used by some of Leïtos' men and Taha/K2s' gang members in various configurations.
One of K2's thugs has a silver shotgun. Though one may think it's an 870 Marine Magnum, it is merely a Remington 870 Express "pimped out" with a nickel plated finish - 12ga
One of Leïtos's guards holds a taped up Remington 870 Express that has a ribbed barrel - 12ga. These types of barrels are not stock items with the 870 in riot configuration but can be purchased separately.

Ithaca Model 37 Stakeout

One of K2's killers chases down Leïto with an Ithaca Model 37 stakeout with 18" barrel on his back - 12ga. Originally listed as a Mossberg, but the pistol grip upon closer inspection is the distinctive Ithaca Stakeout style. This type of firearm is ironically sold commercially as the "Homeland Security" Model 37.

Mossberg 500

One of Leïtos's guards holds a shotgun. At first I thought this was a Winchester 1300, but I now think this is a Mossberg 500 Persuader - 12ga
One of Leïtos's guards gets shot holding a Mossberg 500AT shotgun - 12ga

SIG SG-551

David Belle as Leïto and Dany Verissimo as Lola hold the Gangster Taha hostage, while trying to get away from his gang of armed henchmen - District B13
Sig SG-551 Assault rifle - 5.56mm

Some of Taha's henchmen are armed with SIG SG-551 Assault Rifles. Some of them also have 40mm grenade launchers under their SIG SG551 rifles as well.

SIG SG-552

We see another chopped down Remington 870 (with muzzle brake) and a SIG SG-552 - 5.56mm NATO

SIG SG-540

Sig SG-540 with folding stock - 5.56x45mm (.223 Rem)
Another of Tahas' henchmen holds a SIG SG-540 - 5.56mm NATO

Norinco Type 56

Another one of Tahas' guards runs with a Norinco Type 56 - 7.62x39mm

Mini Uzi

Mini Uzi SMG with stock folded - 9mm
Miscellaneous gang members in District B13 fire their Mini Uzis - 9mm
Mini Uzis fire at the Police Van - 9mm

Micro Uzi

Micro Uzi with Folding Stock - 9mm
Tomaso takes a Micro Uzi with folding stock and barrel extension from a dead bad guy and fires at one of Montoyas' thugs - 9mm

Heckler & Koch MP5K

One of Montoyas' men fires a Heckler & Koch MP5K at Tomaso - 9mm

Seen many times with Montoyas', K2s' or Tahas' henchmen.

Skorpion SA Vz 61

Closeup shot of one of Montoyas' men firing a Skorpion SA Vz 61 at Tomaso - .32 ACP

AR15 Pistol

The henchman in the back has an AR15/M16 full auto pistol based on the Freedom Arms 7" AR Pistol design, however it does not have a flat top receiver like the American pistol, but maintains the carry handle of the M16A1 upper receiver - 5.56mm NATO
One of Taha's henchmen tries to break in the door with an AR15 pistol - 5.56mm NATO

SIG GL 5140 grenade launcher

File:5040 5140-grenade-launcher.jpg
SIG GL 5041 Grenade Launcher - 40mm

The standard 40mm Grenade Launchers for the SIG series of Assault rifle are the GL 5040/GL 5041 launchers, built by Swiss Arms. These are seen attached to SIG SG551s throughout the film.

Galil ARM

The French National police are seen using Galil ARMs with black synthetic furniture - 5.56mm NATO

Heckler & Koch G3

Besides their FAMAS assault rifles, the French National Police also use Heckler & Koch G3 assault rifles fitted with wide "tropical" forearms.

HK Model 91.jpg
The French National police also use G3 rifles with wide handguards - 7.62mm NATO

FN FNC

Some of Tahas' henchmen fire the FN FNC rifle - 5.56mm NATO

AK104??

Look at the lower pic. Now I'm not sure what type of AK variant this is. Note the front sight. MPM

AK104 - new Russian Rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm
Two of Tahas' men - one with an MP5K (9mm) and an AK104 (missing it's muzzle brake and fitted with a Romanian Side Folding Stock) - 7.62x39mm
A better shot of the modified AK-104. It looks to be a standard AKM with a Romanian Side folder stock (note the lack of a full sized folding stock hinge on the back of the receiver), that had an AK-104 barrel assembly and gas system installed. The front Krinkov style muzzle brake has been replaced by a standard AK Muzzle nut which would be impossible with the real AK-104 - 7.62x39mm

AKS-74U

One of Tahas' men fires an AKS-74U.

AKS-74U Underfolder (?!?!)

  • Yes, one of the henchmen holds a AKS-74U style of weapon with a 5.45x39mm magazine (!) but it has an Underfolding stock. It was probably a 5.45mm underfolding AK that was chopped down by an armorer and had the Krinkov front end installed. There are lots of weird custom jobs in the movie gun world, and 'Frankenstein guns' appear from time to time.

Note: Before the last server crash, someone posted here what sort of gun it was. That information was lost when the page reverted to the last version. If that user is still on IMFDB, I would appreciate them posting again, what type of weapon they thought it was. Thanks MoviePropMaster2008 21:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

M240B

One of Tahas' guards mans an M240B Machine gun - 7.62x51mm. M240Bs are also mounted on pickup trucks during a chase through the city.

Ruger Mini-14

Some of Taha's henchmen can be seen holding Ruger Mini 14 rifles in standard configuration.

One of Taha's henchmen is holding a Ruger Mini-14 Rifle - 5.56mm
Ruger Mini-14 Rifle with factory 30 round Magazine - 5.56mm

Beretta M12

In a scene where we see a lot of Tahas' henchmen, the man on the far left is holding a Beretta M12 submachine gun - 9mm

Unknown Shotgun

One of Tahas' guards holds a double barreled shotgun of unknown origin - 12ga

Unknown Revolvers

  • In the film there are quick flashes of nearly dozens of different types of handguns, most of them too quick (or blurry) to identify. Here are some revolvers which (at this time the makes/models escape me). IMFDB users will figure them out in time. :)
Early on K2 has to decide which gun he wants to used. He has to decide between a Mk23 SOCOM 45 acp and a revolver (to be determined)...

Taurus Raging Bull

This French gang leader uses a Taurus Raging Bull.

A miscellaneous French gang leader threatens Detective Tomaso with a large frame revolver (to be determined)...

Jericho 941

  • Taha has a second pistol on his desk, which appears to be a Jericho 941 with a custom port cut into the slide.
Jericho 941 "Baby Eagle"
Tahas' second pistol - Jericho 941 - 9mm

AP9

One of K2s' henchmen runs with a Kimel AP9 pistol - 9mm

Ruger MP9

One of K2s' henchmen holds a Ruger MP9 on the far right - 9mm

Franchi SPAS 12

In this same group shot, the thug 3rd from the left has a Franchi SPAS 12 Shotgun - 12 ga

Beretta M92

Montoyas' guard fires a Beretta M92 (not sure which exact model) - 9mm

Beretta M93R Auto 9

  • Seen during the fight in the gambling den, one of Montoyas' men fires a full auto pistol that strongly resembles the pistol used by RoboCop and also used in Underworld: Evolution. Most likely a Beretta M93R with a custom extended front end, though this is an educated guess based on general shape and usage in other movies.
In a fight with Tomaso, one of Montoyas' guards fires a Beretta M93R Auto 9 in full automatic fire - 9mm

IMI Desert Eagle

Another one of Montoyas' guards reloads his Desert Eagle - exact model and caliber unknown

Ruger KP94DC

Ruger KP94DC - 9mm
Tahas' personal pistol and later taken by Leïto is a Ruger KP94DC (2 tone decocker) with a small laser mounted to the front of the trigger guard - 9mm

Sig Sauer P220 Pistols

  • Tomaso grabs a pair of Sig Pistols during a fight. The full size and large aperture of the barrel would indicate a big caliber like a .45 acp, so the assumption is that they are P220s.
Tomaso fires two Sig Sauer P220 pistols - .45acp

SIG P228 pistol

  • Since the SIG pistols are supposedly stolen from the French National police, they should be SIG Pro SP 2022 or 2009 pistols, but they are probably Sig P228 pistols since they don't have the integral rail of the 2022 or the 2009 pistols used by the French.
Leïto carries a stolen Sig Pistol, most similar to a P228 - 9mm

Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 Pistol

Both Gangster K2 (Tony D'Amario) and Heroine Lola (Dany Verissimo) use Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 Pistols (.45 acp).

File:DistrictB13Lola.jpg
Dany Verissimo as Lola holds an Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 pistol at the neck of gangster Taha

Glock 32

File:B13 Glock32.jpg
Damien Tomaso points a Glock 32 - 357 sig

Elite French Police Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) uses a Glock 32 - chambered for .357 sig. Since Glocks all look alike the only reference to this caliber is a French language article which mentions the actor using a 357 pistol. Since the character never touches a revolver or a Desert Eagle, and that this is a French movie with a French Armorer, I am assuming that his Glock is a Model 32.

Glock G33

Damien Tomaso fires his Glock 33 (?) out a door slot - 357 sig

Though Tomasos' pistol is supposed to be a compact G32 in some of the scenes he seems to be firing a subcompact Glock. Since he is using the same ammunition (in the movie) it should be the Subcompact Glock 33.

Taurus PT92

  • Used by the horrifying Carlos Montoya, who looks more like a character out of Sin City than a French underworld Boss, carries what looks to be a chrome plated PT92.
Carlos Montoya kills an innocent man with his chrome Taurus PT92 - 9mm
