Death Wish 3 is the third installment in the Death Wish film series. In this 1985 sequel, following the rape and / or murder of pretty much everyone he has ever associated with, Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson), aka "The Vigilante", finds himself battling street punks in order to bring peace back to a once quiet New York neighborhood.  Despite the New York setting, the film was actually made in England.

A Wildey Hunter with an 8" barrel is Paul Kersey's (Charles Bronson) main weapon in the film (in real life, the gun was Bronson's personal pistol).
+
Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) takes delivery of a mail-order Wildey Hunter with an 8" barrel and uses it as his  main weapon for the remainder of the film: in real life, the gun was Bronson's personal pistol. The gun is said to be chambered for .475, which, in line with the action movie arms race of the 80s, is specifically pointed out to be larger than .44 Magnum to show that Kersey is packing more heat than Dirty Harry. The round is said to be "a shorter version of the African big game cartridge" implying it is not a pistol cartridge, which isn't particularly true: while the parent case of .475 Wildey is indeed a rifle case (.284 Winchester) this is not a cartridge that sees much use in big game hunting in Africa (it was used primarily for hunting deer and elk in the US and Canada, and never really caught on), and the .475 round itself is the same length as a .45 Winchester Magnum and very much a pistol cartridge.

Death Wish 3 (1985)

Death Wish 3 is the third installment in the Death Wish film series. In this 1985 sequel, following the rape and / or murder of pretty much everyone he has ever associated with, Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson), aka "The Vigilante", finds himself battling street punks in order to bring peace back to a once quiet New York neighborhood. Despite the New York setting, the film was actually made in England.

The following weapons were used in the film Death Wish 3:

Handguns

Wildey Hunter

Wildey Hunter .475 Wildey Magnum
Paul Kersey: "Wildey's Here. Fires a .475 Wildey Magnum, real stopping power."
Bennett: "Is that like a .44 Magnum?"
Paul Kersey: "No, a .44 Magnum is a pistol cartridge and a .475 Wildey Magnum is a shorter version of the African big game cartridge. Makes a real mess."

Machine Guns

Browning M1919A4

Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) and his neighbor Rodriguez (Joseph Gonzalez) use a Browning M1919A4 to kill several gang members before it runs out of ammo. Both the Browning M1919 and the MG42 belonged to Kersey's deceased Korean War buddy Charley, who apparently acquired the weapons during his stint in the military.

MG42

Winchester Model 1200/1300

A Winchester Model 1200/1300 is used by gang members. It seems that this shotgun was specially used for scenes where a weapon needed to be dropped, such as the scene when Hermosa (Alex Winter) is killed and his Remington 870 changes to this weapon: it may well be a replica or rubber stunt gun.

Rifles

M16

An M16 is used by several punks towards the end of the film. The rifle is hard to identify because there is never have a real clear shot or close-up of it. It is unknown whether this is an actual M16 or just a replica such as an MGC M16.

Other

M72 LAW

At the end of the film, Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) uses what appears to be an M72 LAW fitted with a fake pistol grip and trigger. He rather comically managed to fire it in the same room as his target with the back of the tube up against a wall, which should probably have killed everyone in the room. Kersey is also seen loading a rocket into the weapon.

Zip Gun
