Dean Winters is an American actor who is well known to television audiences for his role as Detective Brian Cassidy in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as his role as "Mayhem" in commercials for AllState Insurance. He also had notable roles in such varied series as Battle Creek, 30 Rock, Rescue Me, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He also is the brother of fellow actor Scott William Winters.
