Deadlock is a 1970 German neo-Western thriller directed by Roland Klick. Dump (Mario Adorf), an overseer of the abandoned mine settlement Deadlock, finds in desert a wounded man who has a submachine gun and a bag of cash. Kid (Marquard Bohm) appears to be a bank robber, hiding from his partner Sunshine (Anthony Dawson). Soon Sunshine also appears in Deadlock, planning to get his share of loot.

A Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer pistol, fitted with a twenty-round magazine, a sniper scope and a holster-stock, is Anthony Sunshine's (Anthony Dawson) weapon. In several scenes it is used by Charles Dump (Mario Adorf) and Kid (Marquard Bohm).
