Nice, but where's the trigger?

This downloadable indie game came out way before the 'zombie' first person shooter trend like Left4Dead or Killing Floor.Basically the levels it featured were enclosed. The player's task was to stay alive as much as possible while the computer threw continuous waves of zombies.

The main menu of the game.

IMI Desert Eagle Semiautomatic Pistol

Desert Eagle pistol.
In-game Desert Eagle .50 AE.

Although (as in most fps games) this pistol is not the default equipment, the player collects it via powerups, in most levels of the game.It seems to be a .50 caliber since it destroys most zombies with a single shot but that is disputable. It incorrectly has 10 rounds on the magazine (1 to 3 more than the real weapon depending on caliber).

Mossberg 500 Cruiser Pump Action Shotgun

Mossberg 500 Shotgun.
In-game Mossberg 500.

The second 12-gauge shotgun in the game, this model has a perforated barrel heat shield and a pistol grip.In game it seems to fire 00 buckshot.Devastating in close quarters, holds 8 rounds. The gun has rifle sights.

M60 General Purpose Machine Gun

M60 GPMG.

In-game M60 GPMG.

While this gun holds 100 7.62mm rounds of fully automatic fire, the player is slown down by the bulk of the weapon. Also it takes a lot of time to reload.

Steyr IWS 2000 Sniper Rifle

File:Steyr-iws2000.jpg
Steyr IWS 2000 rifle.
In-game IWS 2000 Sniper Rifle.

The sniper rifle of the game.Contrary to common practice, the gun lacks a scope, instead it has a laser sight mounted in its' place. This makes no sense since this is a very heavy sniping rifle, dedicated for long range neutralization of enemy material, not personnel. The weapon is still in prototype development. It holds 5 rounds, just like the real counterpart.

Pancor Jackhammer Automatic Shotgun

Jackhammer shotgun.
In-game Jackhammer shotgun.

A 12-gauge shotgun that can fire full auto.It holds the same amount of ammo (10 rounds) as in the real model (Mk3A1).The game portrays the function principles of the shotgun accurately by showing the barrel of the gun recoiling back and forth inside the weapons' main body.In game it seems to fire 00 buckshot. This gun is particularly effective with large crowds.

IMI Micro Uzi Submachine Gun

Micro Uzi submachinegun.
In-game Micro Uzi SMG.

This is the standard sidearm of the game. The gun seems to have a barrel extension attatched in front of the muzzle. The stock remains folded throughout the entire game (cannot be unfolded). It has a very high rate of fire (just like the normal weapon) and the magazine holds 50 rounds. While 50-round magazines do exist, in-game the weapon seems to have the more common 30-round magazine. The player fires this weapon sideways 'gangsta-style', which in real life would have questionable accuracy.

Heckler & Koch HK 33 Automatic Rifle

HK-33 Assault Rifle.
In-game HK 33 Rifle.

The standard 5.56 rifle of the game. One burst is usually enough to dispatch a single zombie. The magazine holds 30 rounds, just like the real weapon. The gun itself seems to be an early variant, due to the also early MP-5 style foregrip, which was later abandoned on both guns. The 'S-E-F' fire selector markings can be seen clearly.

Actually if you want to get technical only 25 and 40 round magazines were made for the HK 33, the 30 round magazine is meant for the HK 93 though it is compatible with the HK 33. --AdAstra2009 21:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
