Section 3 paramilitary personnel are issued Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns as one of their main weapons. Misaki uses one near the end of the show.

Section 3 operators disembark from their dark blue Type 96 APCs (also used by Metropolitan police SAT operators in Darker than Black) after commencing the raid on Ikebukuro. They are armed with MP5A3 submachine guns. The same character designs were used in
