D.O.A. (1988)

D.O.A. (aka Dead on Arrival) is a 1988 thriller that stars Dennis Quaid as Dexter Cornell, a college professor who has 36 hours to find out who poisoned him before he dies. The film is based on the 1950 film noir of the same name.

Cookie Fitwaring (Robin Johnson) uses the AMT Hardballer during a confrontation in her mother's stable. Bernard (Christopher Neame), the chauffeur of Mrs. Fitzwaring (Charlotte Rampling), takes it after Cookie drops it as she's drunk. Later, Dexter Cornell (Dennis Quaid) takes the gun and uses it for the remainder of the film.

Mrs. Fitwaring briefly pulls out a stainless Beretta Model 70 as she is confronted by Dexter Cornell (Dennis Quaid). Altough, the gun changes into a Heckler & Koch P7M13 later on in the scene.
