Curse of the Pink Panther is the sixth film in the "Pink Panther" movie series to be directed by Blake Edwards and was filmed concurrently with Trail of the Pink Panther. Ted Wass stars in the film as NYPD Det. Clifton Sleigh, the "world's worst detective" picked (on purpose) by Chief Inspector Dreyfus to locate the missing Inspector Clouseau. The film is notable for the appearances of David Niven, Robert Wagner, and Capucine, who all appeared in the original Pink Panther film as well as a certain action star of his own film series who makes an amusing cameo as Inspector Clouseau.
