The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming sci-fi FPS shooter Crysis 2:

WORK IN PROGRESS

Crysis 2 (2011)

Handgun

Hammer Pistol

The Hammer pistol is seen being chambered by a C.E.L.L. soldier in a beta footage. It appears to be based on the Beretta 92FS and features a strike plate on the front of the slide. unlike the Beretta the Hammer pistol seem to be a high caliber pistol with 9 round magazines

Majestic Pistol

A six-shot revolver called the "Majestic Pistol" is seen being used by Alcatraz in the "Be The Weapon" trailer.

The Majestic Pistol aimed at an alien Ceph unit.

M12 Nova

What maybe the M12 Nova is the third sidearm confirmed to be in the game. The pistol seems to be Crysis' SOCOM pistol, which was based on a mixture of the H&K UCP prototype, the Heckler & Koch Mark 23, and the Walther P99.

Assault Rifle

SCAR

The weapon used by the protagonist Alcatraz and much of your allies heavily resembles a Heckler & Koch XM8 chambered in 6.8x43mm like the previous game Crysis. As in the Crysis world, it appears as if the weapon won the SOCOM SCAR competition.

SCARAB

A compact version of the SCAR, the SCARAB, is seen several times being used by U.S. military soldiers.

Grendel assault rifle

Seen in the CryEngine 3 trailer is what appears to be the Grendel assault rifle. The GRENDEL assault rifle uses new 6.5x39mm Grendel rounds that have more stopping power than 5.56 NATO. The GRENDEL has a 24 rounds magazine and fires in 3 rounds bursts. The assault rifle resembles the Bushmaster ACR, though the Crysis 2 version can fire in bursts.

Submachine Gun

Feline SMG

Feline SMG, a bullpup SMG with a 60 (+1) round magazine. It is very similar to the real life assault rifle FN F2000 Tactical.

K-Volt electric gun

The player Alcatraz is seen firing a K-Volt electric gun at an alien Ceph unit in "Be The Weapon" trailer. Appears to be a TDI Vector with a near-complete tan finish and lack of a magazine.

Shotgun

Jackal shotgun

Jackal shotgun, a semi-automatic shotgun with a 7 (+1) round box magazine. looks like a Hawk Semi-Auto Tactical shotgun or Valtro PM5.

Note that the receiver resembles that of a Heckler & Koch MP5.

Sniper Rifle

DSG-1

The DSG-1 is a 10-round bolt-action precision rifle that appears in the beta multiplayer footage. As the name implies, it is based on the DSR-1. Its appearance looks much different than in Crysis, it lost all the Heckler & Koch PSG-1 features and now resembles the DSG-1 more closely now, but it's still feeds from magazines in front of the trigger instead of behind it like the real DSG-1. it also features a shorter stock, a slightly shorter handguard and top rail, and a longer barrel.

Machine Guns

This heavy machine gun has been probably inspired by the M240 GPMG and the M85 heavy machine gun.

Mk. 60

Explosives

L-TAG grenade launcher

In the "Be The Weapon" trailer, Alcatraz is seen firing the L-TAG grenade launcher, which is pretty much an M79 grenade launcher modified to hold 6 grenade shells.

M112 C4 explosive pack

M112 C4s appear as demolition charges that can be remotely detonated. The C4 pack in-game is actually a bundle of three M112 explosive packs taped together with duct tape.

JAW rocket launcher

In the "Central Station" level, the player is seen using the JAW rocket launcher to shoot down a Ceph alien unit. It's appearance and function indicates that it may be based on the M136 AT4, though it only has one shot available.

Grenades

Frag grenade

A fictional frag grenade with textures similar to the WWII-era Mk. 2 hand grenade is seen in the CryEngine 3 trailer.
