Hotchner tricks the "Long Distance Serial Killer" into letting him beat Reid, but the kicks are a ruse to allow Reid to take the gun from Hotchner's ankle holster. Reid then kills the LDSK with a shot to the forehead, though later claims he was aiming for the LDSK's leg.
Beretta 950 Jetfire
A terror cell kills several civilians and and one member wounds a detective, using Beretta 950 Jetfire pistols. Police ballistic analysts state it is chambered in .22 long rifle, and explains the caliber was most likely used since NYC background noise was often louder than the report of a .22lr.
