Criminal Minds is an American crime procedural series that focuses on a special team of FBI profilers in the Bureau's Behavior Analysis Unit. In each episode, the agents of the BAU specialize on the analysis of the behavior of the criminal (commonly referred in the series as an "Unsub" or "Unknown Subject") rather than strictly on the crime. The series premiered in 2005 in the US on CBS and has aired for 8 seasons. A spinoff, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior aired for one season in 2011.
